It is known that british have a different taste of humor.Its the kind of slapstic comedy.

@KingChiliPepper If you're talking about slap-stick in the sense of Jerry Lewis or The Three Stooges, then I don't think we ever had that kind of sense of humour. We've always been interested in more complex social comedy like Only Fools & Horses, or a play on words humour like Mrs. Slocombe talking about her pussy. I think Monty Python was the nearest we got to the American type of humour, but even then the humour did make sense. It wasn't just goofing around like clowns.
