Paul Davis was a talented and gentle person. I was program director at a station in Atlanta; just a small station; but a Billboard station; I added this song along with WHHY in Montgomery which started it with 2 bullets on the Billboard charts. It spent the longest life on the charts; topping out at number 7; 52 weeks; during the Saturday Night Fever era. I am proud to have known Paul Davis; and proud to have heard the music.
