Im watching this video...this is the worst song and performance this trio did. The best part is redman rapping. His flow was so tight! The producer should have had redman do one or two more verses and the trio should just harmonized between them.

Yes a video was shoy..however "Someone' and "loose My Cool" were major flops in the USDa. However after RCA leased the christmas cd (in which swv cross promoted) they release "Rain". It picketd up sales of the cd. Probally cause it was more intnue with ballad..that is tehre strongest forte.

a while after this this SWV had a Christmas performance on BET where they did some song off their album called: "A Special Christmas" They guy posted it but he took it off becuz he didn't like the quality of it he says he didn't upload it right and he will do it again in the future. Yes a video was shoy..however "Someone' and "loose My Cool" were major flops in the USDa. However after RCA leased the christmas cd (in which swv cross promoted) they release "Rain". It picketd up sales of the cd. Probally cause it was more intnue with ballad..that is tehre strongest forte.

@Eriq7001 i think with it being this time(1997)they would have been better off releasing Release Some Tension as a single i think 97 was one of the greatest years in music.

Thanks for the comment however 97 did has some great jams..The problem with "Release" CD is that most of the beats were from rappers and hip hop producers of songs earlier in 97. Most people thought th trio was jacking beats to sell records. I agree that the formula seems stale..worked with some tracks didnt with others.

Well, I stick by what I said. I am a professional singer and the tone of TAJ's voice is not one of a singer. Even when she is in the background is does not sound good. I adore SWV so I would never hate I'm just stating the facts, and the facts are she cant sing. sorry BUT I STILL LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEEE SWV

I feel ya but when I SEEN them live and They did Patti labelle's "If Only You Knew" all 3 crushed their part Lelee probably did the best, btu Taj killed her part too, and Coko took the high part away and got the stand ovation!

One of the worst performances Taj sounded a mess! But they performed this on Arsenio and she sounded good from what i can remember. I think she has a nice tone, but a weak voice. Lelee can hold a note better than her.

I LOVVVVVVEEEEEE SWV but TAJ cant sang OMG she sound like she was terrified. This was the second single off the THIRD album. She should have been comfortable on stage by than. Coko saved her each time. BUT I STILLLL LOOOOVVVVEEEE THEM

Ahhh dey actually became more uncomfortable as time went on cos of all the haters! Thats why ywhen you watch the later live performances, you hear the backing track where as when they 1st hit you can hear them doin the backup clearly! Coko had every reason to be confident and she knew this!

a while after this this SWV had a Christmas performance on BET where they did some song off their album called: "A Special Christmas" They guy posted it but he took it off becuz he didn't like the quality of it he says he didn't upload it right and he will do it again in the future. Also coko performed Silent Night LIVE with her mother(Lady Tibba Gamble) also on that special!!!!!
