  • jesus! im sittin here smokin a joint and i just realized how well you strum without dropping the pick.............im gonna go get some chinese food..see ya

  • Could you do "apricot brandy" by Rhinoceros?

  • Your doing a great job on your instructional videos, I was curious to know if you would rather play electric or acoustic?

  • Hope Manny's Music sends you some guitar strings...for your endorsement haha

  • Hey, glad you brought up that old song. Easy to play and fun

    to sing with friends.

    Hey you Rock.

  • Great cover

  • could you do a Jay Farrar/Son Volt song?

  • You know I love all of your stuff but asa huge favour"Katmandu"" by The Cat andKeiths rhythm part at themiddle of"Can you hear mr knocking". kEITHS part at the middle I am not realy sure of the fingering and MT kinda takes over the Santana like groove. Nevr seen or heard anybody do it. I try and think I got it but I am obsessed with the tune! Open G in the into and theriffs in the end kind of confuse me.

  • I love your beatles songs plz post more :D

  • you use a nice camera, nice and clear, both sound and footage. great stuff, keep 'em coming.

  • was just at mannys last weekcheckin out the chet atkins gretsch ...ty for the lessons

  • how do you pick the guitar for your videos? is it just random or do you pick which one sounds the best for the song?

  • hey PT, could you do a cover of 'keep yourself alive' by queen and 'traveller in time' by uriah heep? I have been trying to learn these for a while and it would really help.

  • pt could you explain what you said, ill quote:"johns vocal line kind of goes to E7"?

  • @angela21215 For example, when he sings "Peter Brown called to say you can make it OK..." that's all on a D note, which is the 7th in an E7 chord. But I don't hear him changing the guitar chord there.

  • Paul on the drums!

  • @TheVasicist Paul really plays one drum beat whenever he plays drums. But he plays that one beat really well.

  • I believe there should be an "E7" Chord somewhere in the strumming pattern. Try doing a "E" "E7" "A" and B7".

  • @CluvVenny I listened pretty closely, and although John's vocal line kind of goes to the E7, I don't hear him playing that on the acoustic. If he's doing it, I can't hear it.

  • You should also do the lead guitar licks in this same song. Good cover.

  • partway though the verse it changes to an E7

  • This is a great song to practice a little bass rhythm to as well.

  • I went to Abbey Road last week, and the cafe next to it was blasting this loudly, it was pretty awesome :)
