  • Roberto is the real master of the Cuban cháchá. Viola is also good. What's name of the song. Where can i buy it in The Netherlands (Europe). Waar kan ik deze cd kopen in Nederland?

  • ¡Coño! Por fin, alguien que baila al compás de la musica... que rico.

  • Thanks for posting, no doubt this is what is missing, when dancing the cha-cha-cha in the clubs, even the mambo dancers in NY are not this good. I always thought that something was missing from the dance, this is the real deal.

  • One thing, whether the cha, cha, cha or any other dance, is that this couple is dancing to the music. When the music is contained, they dance contained. They only get showy when the montuno comes in at the end, when the musical energy is highest. That kind of sensitivity and connection is a joy to watch.

  • Hey Jamon, where are you located? I like to also add that sensitivity, which is difficult to teach, comes with maturity is the art within the dance.

  • Oakland, Calif, USA. Maturity yes, in part, but a teacher can help make a young, less experienced person aware of the dynamics. I think that kind of instruction about listening to the music is lacking everywhere.

  • I concur, most teachers not familiar with Cuban dance history, treat Mambo as a fast dance. In reality, Mambo is a smooth and precise intimate partner dance that doesn't separate much. It is this classic aspect that is captured in the clip, which causes me to micro-analyze these movements. Where and how did you gain access to this footage?
