To predict logical SSB characters. You must think like one from Nintendo Firstly they always pick mascots or main characters over secondaries. Tails will trump Knuckles because he is a side kick. They will never allow complete copies from T.V shows(have to be from video games) so no Team rocket(from the show at least). Snake was a long shot that makes Mr. Drake an even BIGGER long shot Naughty Dog would have to plead so hard to get him in there. lastly its either Yarn Kirby or Kirby...kirby wins

Um, the Pokémon Trainer isn't Ash. His name is Red. Don't ask me why they did that, ask them. Also, Red's female counterpart, Leaf, should be in the next Smash Bros. Also, Red is much more badass and Red became Pokémon Master before Ash was even a thought in someone's head. One more thing, Ash isn't even the Pokémon Master yet. Matter of fact, he's still on his journey to become a PKMN Master. And there should be more Fire Emblem characters. No one said there should only be Marth & someone else.

Knuckles. . he could be either an overall balanced character, only maybe with less speed and more power. I'm honestly not a real good fan of Shadow the hedgehog "He's basically another Sonic with some tweaks, and even then his character's personality doesn't interest/suit me." Knuckles has his own character. He could in a sense replace DK since he has the chance of being the ONLY light-weight power character. Knuckles is also pretty skilled from what I've read about him so he's a good exception.

Nathan Drake has no relation to Nintendo, Snake does. Balloon fighter is a really stupid Idea, there are many many people that use the Ice Climbers. Shadow is better than Knuckles. Pokemon Trainer is Red, he looks exactly like Red and is NOT Satoshi (Ash as you call him). Megaman would be fine, X would be even better, but it most likely won't happen. Belmont is a good idea.

For everyone that wants a character that wasnt created by Nintendo, listen up. There is a very, very, very, VERY small percent chance that Nintendo will put any of the characters you want in the next game. Super Smash Brothers has a character, trophy, and stage roster of entirely Nintendo related franchises (other than Sonic and Metal Gear Solid as Nintendo made deals with the creators) so its nice that you have suggestions, but it just wont happen without a lot of luck.

my picks are amaterasu from Ookami, Ninja from metal gear, Bring back Mewtwo and Roy as well add Zoroark from more villain types, Giraheim is the best choice really since he was awesome Knuckles is good but why not sliver or shadow the hedgehog? either one will work. mikey is nice point
