Steven Spielberg's films are like a sweet ice cream to me, but Williams' scores are like Hershey's syrup and cherries on top making those stories and images even more indelibly sweeter both during and after the cinema on Opening Weekend :) Their perennial partnership since 1974's "The Sugarland Express" has grown into such a formidable class act for audiences around the world.
perhaps one of JW's greatest scores...this piece is brimming with emotion; melancholy, depression, guilt, happiness, nostalgia, longing...
