Does anyone find it funny that they made the ding a ling a red head? I'm sure the current PM wouldn't be impressed at the stereotyping, lucky it was made before all the political correctness came in.
Hey everybody - I'm 40 and I remember these from my childhood. These were first out in the late 70's, along with all the 'Life Be In It' ads (remember Norm and his family?? I think Norm was based on Arthur Dunger!) I used to sing these songs in bed when I was about 9 or 10 and it used to drive my brother insane!! Where is the one about the 'monsters' around the house - that was my favourite!
@roryracer10 And they're brilliant; countless 30-somethings around Australia know and love these songs. Would love to see them performed on your channel, Rory :)
These ads were awesome. They should bring them back

@bigfaluda The complete soundtracks, voices and everything were done by Rory O'Donoghue and Grahame Bond. Animation by Gwyn Perkins.

racist?! are you serious? That's the most ding-a-ling thing ive heard in a long time.Seriously dude, get a life.
drakkas666 3 years ago
Hmm, this ad is racist. Can't help but notice the "Ding a Ling" is darker than the other kids. Please explain Channel 9
milesmedia 3 years ago
I think it's more pertinant that the dingaling has red hair lolz.
