Their stability had nothing to do with it, we had interest and reasons that warranted our presence so we invaded and toppled their army in a matter of weeks. Iraq is no more corrupt than most Middle Eastern countries that surround it. Iran, Afghanistan, all of them have corrupt governments. We have to maintain a presences and teach their leaders the right way before we can leave, whether it take another year or another 100.
