This song was written by my high school English teacher, Joe Shapiro, chairman of the English Department at Lafayette High School, Brooklyn, NY. Just thought fans would like to know. Mr. Shapiro also wrote the Perry Como hit,"Round and Round" and "The Treasure of Love."
Am I the only one who thinks this man has one of the most beautiful voices ever set to music. Where is his place in rock and roll, blues, history? Even Aretha Franklin gave homage to him.
