As explained in the affidavit, the translator took it upon himself to argue that Obama was born in Hawaii, but, his step-grandmother said he was born in Mombasa. The recent CNN statements were very misleading. In that same segment, the CNN anchor claimed that Governor Anercrombie said he had witnessed the birth. That too was a lie. Abercrombie has clearly stated he was not at the hospital.

If you're natural born you don't have this issue, because it's easy to prove by simply getting a copy of your original birth certificate which has some relevant information on it. Don't be deceived. Obama has provided no such copy. The Certification of Live Birth firstly is not a Birth Certificate, secondly is not a copy of an original Birth Certificate, and Thirdly is an inferior document which could be obtained by those born outside the country. @pornpan96, Hawaii routinely issues Certifications of Live Birth to foreign born children. The only requirement is that the parents claim that they lived in Hawaii for one year prior to the birth. However, there is a great possiblity that the document Obama posted is a fake-Hawaii refuses to say that it is authentic or to say they provided the document to him.

Barrack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States but a native born citizen. To be a natural born citizen of the U.S. both parents must be U.S. citizens and one must be born in the U.S. The definition goes back to Vattel's "Law of Nations" (Book 1, Chapter 19, Paragraph 212). As a result Barrack Obama does not meet the eligibility requirements for President and is therefore not President. Birth place is irrelevant since Barrack Obama's father was never a US Citizen.

All cases are brought before the Court in a Conference and to the best of my knowledge, at least five Justices must vote to hear the case, or it is rejected. No, it is Federal Law. The States do not have the right to establish their own immigration and naturalization laws. The Constitution gave that right to Congress in Article I, Section 8, "To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization". As explained in the affidavit, the translator took it upon himself to argue that Obama was born in Hawaii, but, his step-grandmother said he was born in Mombasa. The recent CNN statements were very misleading. In that same segment, the CNN anchor claimed that Governor Anercrombie said he had witnessed the birth. That too was a lie. Abercrombie has clearly stated he was not at the hospital.

If you're natural born you don't have this issue, because it's easy to prove by simply getting a copy of your original birth certificate which has some relevant information on it. Don't be deceived. Obama has provided no such copy. The Certification of Live Birth firstly is not a Birth Certificate, secondly is not a copy of an original Birth Certificate, and Thirdly is an inferior document which could be obtained by those born outside the country. Obama has never been vetted.

@pornpan96, Hawaii routinely issues Certifications of Live Birth to foreign born children. The only requirement is that the parents claim that they lived in Hawaii for one year prior to the birth. However, there is a great possiblity that the document Obama posted is a fake-Hawaii refuses to say that it is authentic or to say they provided the document to him.

Barrack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States but a native born citizen. To be a natural born citizen of the U.S. both parents must be U.S. citizens and one must be born in the U.S. The definition goes back to Vattel's "Law of Nations" (Book 1, Chapter 19, Paragraph 212). As a result Barrack Obama does not meet the eligibility requirements for President and is therefore not President. Birth place is irrelevant since Barrack Obama's father was never a US Citizen.

Natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. Notice the "S" on the end of the word "parents"-that means that BOTH parents, need to be US citizens, AND you have to be born within the USA, to be considered a Natural born citizen.

Anyone who has a at least one US citizen parent who has been a citizen for at least 5 years after their 14th birthday (thus 19 years old for natural citizens) is automatically a natural born US citizen. Anyone born on US soil is automatically a natural born US citizen. Obama does not qualify for the first two, but DOES qualify for the last one.

Under the "Law of Nations", to be a "natural born Citizen," the child MUST to be born in the United States (or what may be deemed its territory) to TWO citizen parents. Both my parents were born in the United States and my father was a U.S. Army officer. When I was born I was a German citizen, and my parents had to take out naturalization papers for me to become an American citizen. My birth certificate is in German. All cases are brought before the Court in a Conference and to the best of my knowledge, at least five Justices must vote to hear the case, or it is rejected. No, it is Federal Law. The States do not have the right to establish their own immigration and naturalization laws. The Constitution gave that right to Congress in Article I, Section 8, "To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization". The law you are quoting is the Immigration and Nationality Act, Title III, Chapter 1, section 301 (g), also known as [8 U.S.C. 1401]. LOOK at the Pdf you linked to-EVERY PAGE STATES, "U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs Manual"-not Hawaii Law.

As you are aware, he has yet to prove where he was born, and his mother was too young to pass citizenship on to him, if he had a foreign birth. If he was born in the USA, then at most, he would hold dual citizenship, and would not be eligible for the office of President.

Yes, for a time plain Citizens were allowed to be President, because in 1787, the oldest natural born citizens were only 11 years old. The USA was only created in 1776, so there would not have been a natural born US citizen eligible for office until 1811, because the President must be at least 35 years old. They were Subjects of the Crown, or as stated in the Mayflower Compact, "the loyal subjects of our dread sovereign Lord, King James, by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France and Ireland". Even if their desendents, were considered natural born subjects or citizens of the British Empire, they all renounced that status, and took oaths of allegiance to a new nation. Remember that the United States of America did not exist as a nation prior to 1776.

That is correct. It is a legal text. What do you do when you find a word you don't know? You look it up in the Dictionary. When you find a legal term you don't know, you look it up. Law of Nations is one text used for this. Natural Born Citizens is a legal term, that has been used for centuries. Claiming the Constitution did not define the term is a poor excuse. Did the Constitution define the words "Constitution" or "Citizen"? We are expected to use some common sense. Of course some have none.

I believe that congress passed a law that changed the age requirements for a mother to pass on her citizenship to her child wherever she was at, less stringent than the laws in 1961. It even retroactively covered those like Obama's mother back to some time in the 1950's. I can't quite remember where I read it, but the whole "Obama's mother couldn't pass on her citizenship" argument because of the laws in 1961 have been made null and void by the updated laws.

Hawaii Revised Statute 338-17.8 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born OUTSIDE of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the childs birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence. The Certification of Live Birth, proves nothing. He could have been born anywhere in the world, and still have this document. NOT all citizens born on US soil are natural born citizens.
