  • Hauntingly beautiful!

  • can't watch her, the microfone, her lips, her songs/ she's incredible

  • Comment removed

  • Incredible!

  • I like this extended version, and it's very pretty!!!

  • ethereal

  • This isn't one of my top Tori songs, but this is one of the most moving performances I've ever seen -- of anything, ever. Tori rules.

  • this is why she is my favorite artist. hauntingly beautiful, and those words don't even do it justice.

  • Ottimo brano, dalle buone musiche e atmosfere...poi Tori Amos lo canta in modo egregio...!!

  • Thank you so much.

The song is amazing. But then again - SHE is.

  • The Dakota Version. What does that verse say? "I go from day to day...." but what does she sing after that? I've tried for years to figure it out. Please help?

  • I go from day to day

I know where the cupboards are

I know where the car is parked

I know he isnt you , nothing is

sorry took me a few seconds to get that out

  • One of my favorite Tori Songs, and that's saying something since I have so many! She is truly amazing live.

  • I cannot get over how beautiful this song truly is. My favorite verse is from the Dakota remix...'I go from day to day I know where the...etc.' Not sure why or what it means but that verse touches me in a way that no other song has. I saw her here in Fort Myers, FL and after the concert was so bummed she did not perform it. Then came the encore...WooT!!!!!!! She played it and I cried!!!

  • We all interpret songs differently. For me, the "I go from day to day" expresses feelings of unrequited love or betrayal in love where physical things: the car and the cupboards, represent daily things that remind you of that painful love. for example I had a crush on a guy with a blue car and whenever i saw a car that looked like his, it reminded me of him. "I know he isnt you" can be a reference to a rebound lover that is not meaningful b/c of old feelings. This is my interpretation.

  • Spot on!

  • Tori's deepest song? I add to favorites this vid. thanks!

  • *Goosebumps*

  • This song is so touchy and deep

  • Breathtaking!!!

    Tori's art is magnificent.

Thank you so very much for sharing!

  • i think it's the best perfomance of this song ever

  • she's played it in Frankfurt, 30.06.07 and it made me cry...this song touches me so deeply.

  • Thank you!!! This video is fantastic. I starting watching it and it completely ate me. I wish she'd play a piano version =|

  • You guys haven't seen Jupiter from the Florida DVD?

  • She has been playing nothing but Dakota live since 2002!

  • eh, not true. shes played regular piano version each time ive seen her, except for the SW tour.

  • Tori has not so much as TOUCHED the piano during Hey Jupiter since December 17, 2001 in Milan, Italy. It was performed on the Fender Rhodes with the band during the 2002-3 tour and on the Hammond A100 organ (solo) during the 2005 tours, and both of the latter versions contained the extra lyrics to the "Dakota" version.

So, unless you've saw Tori on some imaginary tour...

  • wow. a bit touchy, are we? chill.

  • No, I'm just passionate about informing people who are uninformed.

  • hahaha I love you robert

  • actually, you sound like a pretentious dick

  • thank you.... i agree. these are the types of fans i cannot stand. i think tori cant either.

  • she played it on the Bossendorfer at Manchester this year. I was there.

  • NO she didn't! This whole tour it's being played on the Hammond & synthesizer together. Maybe you should search again on here for "A tiny clip of Hey Jupiter from Manchester"

  • *raised eyebrow*

Hmmm. I recall very vividly how she did play a whole section (but not the whole) of the song on piano.

  • ....to point: except the 1st Chicago night when she played the original version without the Dakota verse ;) ADP tour obviously

  • Yeh, I'd never seen Dakota live either. This is really something. Her voice is in perfect form too. Thanks.

  • Thank you thank you thank you! Never heard her play the remix version live.
