  • why are you breathing like you just ran a marathon?

  • it's not so much gliding as it is falling with style.

  • Do they train to use any kind of box or something? Can they roam free in a house like other small animals if so? I'm wanting a pet that will get attached to me, I live alone and have heard they are very affectionate. Is this correct?

  • how many do u have

  • fuckin EMOLGAS

  • That's not flying! Thats....falling with style!

  • Before any of you go out and buy one because they're cute and cuddly critters, do your research! I spent 3 years reading about these little guy before i got 2 and learn something new everyday.

  • Watching this video makes me hate living in Commiefornia. How can these little cuties be illegal here?

  • I have one, ready to breed, are you a breeder?? If so, I need advice!!

  • @KirbyPeachFan40 I'm not a breeder, but I do know some things. If I'm not confident I can answer your questions, I'll send you in the direction of someone who can. :)

  • My frandd might get emm imma b a aunt

  • are they allowed here in texas?

  • california needes to loosen up on its exotic pet laws . you can have a chinchilla or a rat but you canot have a sugarglider or a ferret.

  • @Beezjee24 My friend has a ferret. I'm in NorCal.

  • @Beezjee24 If anything they need to be WAY more strict about exotic pet laws, but I'm mostly thinking about those insane people who have lions, bears, tigers, chimps, etc. Having rats, chinchillas, ferrets, and smaller animals like that isn't a problem to me personally, as long as they are cared for properly.

  • Im glad it went for your head...

  • where would you get one in california

  • @87banshee1 They're illegal in California. No reputable breeder will sell one to you, and it would be difficult to find vet care for them, given that you would have to find a very trustworthy vet. If you're caught with them, they will be confiscated and euthanized. Don't get one unless you leave Cali.

  • @MakiMaki962047 why r they illegal in california?

  • @MakiMaki962047 are they legal in michigan?

  • @MakiMaki962047 What do they eat?

  • @MakiMaki962047

No they are not The are Legal i have a sugar glider here in my house and i live in cali

  • @laundry9870 They're illegal in California. You cannot even obtain a permit to own one legally. They're 100% illegal, and if someone finds out and reports that you own them, they can/will be confiscated. Sometimes they'll give you up to 48 hours to find them a home somewhere where they're legal, but more often than not, they will take them and put them to sleep.

  • @MrOzzyPom

    not in my neighborhood ;]

  • what happens if it hits the floor !?! do they bounce ?

  • @BizzareAlbino Kind of. Their body structure is built for hard landings. They can glide up to a football field's length in the wild, and land on a tree. I imagine that's not the softest landing. ;)

  • @MakiMaki962047 That is why they should be in the wild! Able to Glide freely, not forced to jump off a bathtub rail...... this is cruel

  • @LiveLoveLax97 Because they're so neglected with a wheel to run in to their heart's desire, fed a nutritious diet, toys to play with, no need to be afraid of getting eaten by predators, and having warm and cozy pouches to sleep in. Such a horrible life.

  • @MrOzzyPom Thats not natural, its like a whale living in a aquarium, they are kept alive and healthy, but not in their natural habitat with other wild animals.

  • @LiveLoveLax97 : People like you are so ignorant. Just shut up already.

  • I have done research on guys, i know i have the time and money to spend. Does anyone know where i can get one in Connecticut? I'd love to get one!

  • yea if that glider made that noise and jumped on me i would think it was a bat?!

  • i named my glider is "ily" hehe

  • soooo cute!!!

  • You said small night light , does that means it can't get light?

  • its her war cry lol

  • when i get a glider, i am naming him joe.

  • Omg its like a squarl /bat yhe eyes are so big there cute but I jumped when it jumped onto u lol.

  • reminded me of those spidery things from alien

  • haha the first ones screech made me smilee.. hehe

  • Um, you know you aren't supposed to have them in a hamster wheel like that? They can get their toes caught in the holes and get severly injured.

  • think she was screaming in her head : LEAVE ME IN THE BALL AHHH!

  • What kind of Pokemon is that?

  • @ErikaCartagena Emolga.

  • clean you nasty bathroom yuck.

  • yeh, landed on her hand. F*** wit it.

"ah yeh? i'll do u one better... iiiiii'm GETTIN SOME HEAD! OH!"

    OH! OH SNAP!

    "YYYYEEEEEAAH BOYEEEEE!"

  • :) asses

  • BONSAI!!!

  • ADORBZ! But in the beginning, is that your GLIDER crabbing like that?

  • This young girl is doing great taking care of her gliders. I can tell she did her research becuase she turned her hamster ball into a bed. Hamster balls are dangerous for gliders to run in, so most people who make that mistake are told to just use it as a nest. Second, The bathroom is a good place to give your glider exercise and a good place to bond with them. People have been playing with their gliders in the bath room for years and I have yet to hear of any of them dying, So do your research

  • were do you get one

  • What are you doing? He wants to be in the ball but you pull him out! You're cruel.

  • U seem like a good pet owner and they like u but dont take em out if they don't won't to they don't like that they will come to you when they won't to or u can take them out only if they don't try to hold on to something or try to stay in the cage but they ain't mine so u can do wat ever u want just a tip

  • quick question: are sugar gliders really affectionate? I know other small animals like pet mice are really only motivated by food and such, but it seems like sugar gliders are more intelligent

  • @Killerrayzz yes, suggies are very affectionate if you bond with'em. They are very intelligent, if you tie a nylon rope and pt it in their cage, they'll untie it for fun. It's really cool.

  • xD Oh, sweet Jesus..The little screech it made when it jumped made me laugh so hard I cried.. That's just so damn cute.

  • @YaoiRhea It's sugar glidese for "Geronimo!!", of course.

  • I liked The Screech It made when it jumped lol

  • I'm puking rainbows over here.

  • They are so cute! Do you still have them? Are they hard to take care of? Messy?

  • "come on, come on!" *sugar glider jumps* "AHH!" so cute!

  • AWWWW

    I want one!

    so cute!

  • SO CUTE!!! I'm loving their ninja moves too!

  • Is it true that they die just because you don't give them attention...i mean, cant you just feed them and they will b fine?

  • Beee redeeeeeee, chirps the sugar glider. Bonded life partner of Dana, friend to all humans!

  • I want a sugar bear really really badly, i just have a few questions; Where would be the best place to get a nice, healthy, well treated baby sugar glider, and how do they fair during the night when you're trying to sleep? Since they're nocturnal, aren't they a pest?

  • 7 People bought a dog.

  • @Heyjude32010 I bought a dog last night but I liked this video...

  • My boyfriend has 2 sugar gliders. there so cute (: <3

  • Are sugar gliders are good pets? Please reply.

  • @AungTH1 yes lol

  • HE'S ADORABLE

  • i have a question. if they jump and u dont realize they're jumping and they fall, will they get severely hurt?

  • @RetroJoystick

i seriously doubt it. how many times have you seen a squirrel fall and hurt itself? ok, now how many times have you seen a squirrel with the equivalent of a tiny little parachute fall and hurt itself?

  • I WANTZ ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOW THE FUCK DID YOU TRAIN IT! my friend has one and if you let it out if takes hours to catch.

  • glider:holy s&*$ this is high, cant do iiiitttt!!!!!!

    Girl:c'mon c'mon u can do it.............. cmon

    glider:EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK smash.

    0:03

  • Haha... "no! Stay out of the sink... Please dont go in the sink? Come on" LOL

  • Don't they hide or run away?

  • @pollordubai yaa but you should have alot of patience, dont run behind them cuz they're gonna think you want to hurt them, and males they can think you want to mating with them ahahaha funny but truth

  • Those things are cool.

  • thank you so much for this vid..

now i know where to have fun with mine :D

  • don't they get injured jumping off like that? i mean they're suppose to do that in nature and all... but is it really safe?

  • sugar gliders are cute !!! i love them so much !!!

  • Comment removed

  • hrrrmm...once they trust you...can you give them a little bath in the sink? or do they hate water like cats?

  • @TubeTrollster Sugar gliders should never have a 'bath.' The closest thing to a bath they should have is a wipe down with a warm, wet cloth, and that's only if they manage to dive in an open cup of orange juice or something. They normally do a good job at keeping themselves clean - and if not, it's probably time for a trip to the vet.

  • @MakiMaki962047 What about in nature? I know they get caught in rainstorms...my sister's bird loves to get gently showered...I wonder if sugar gliders would like that occasionally? I know if I don't shower for 2 days, my smell can be described as sweet and musky LOL

  • @MakiMaki962047 Very true! My sugar glider did a very good job of grooming herself until one day she stopped. We took her to the vet and found out she was very sick and thats why she wasn't grooming herself. We would wash her up every few days while we were nursing her back to health, but that was with a warm cloth, And afterwards, we made sure to wrap her up and make her warm.

  • @TubeTrollster

If you give them a "Bath" they could become sick because they cannot dry very quickly and it may take a while for them to dry.

  • @TubeTrollster never put any animal in a sink or bath

every single germ we wash off is in those so if you do that it is a very high chance they will get sick from the unknown germs and maybe even die

  • @KyMcLovett if you can't put an animal in the sink or the bathtub because of germs, why can humans go in it?

  • @RachaelNicolexD because its just like the british coming to take the indians land, the indians all got sick from the "new" bacteria that the british bodies were used to.

Our bodies are used to the bacteria and can fend them off with our immune system because they've been introduced to us before. The sugar gliders may have not been introduced to the bacteria of virus so there immune system doesn't know how to fight it so the could get sick or even die.

  • @KyMcLovett LOL sugar gliders have immune systems too and probably have more germs on them den a freshly cleaned bathtub anyhow...dumm azzez

  • @TubeTrollster u not suppose to wash them

  • @MetalWarzoneFilms well den i aint be gettin 1 cuz i aint wanna smell dem smellin like undouched puss!..my sister gives her bird a shower...it loves it cuz birds like showers in da rain..im pretty sure sugar gliders get wet and shower in da rain too...but w/e u these pet peeps aint know what they talkin bout i bet their vet say it ok to spray them down in shower sometimes but they prolly not even wash demselves let alone dere gliders...shoot...i know datz rite

  • @TubeTrollster u dont wash them because they clean themselves and are pretty sanitised animals

  • @TubeTrollster You should look up HOW to take care of them. Don't assume they're going to NEED a bath. You never have to wash them. They clean themselves like a cat, and cats don't smell.

  • @TubeTrollster they hate water i have one

  • @TubeTrollster Sugar gliders don't know how to swim and will drowned that is why you have to be aware of things like toilets that are opened drain pipes in sinks that don't have guards on them and even containers that may have liquid in them that are around your house.

  • @willow6969696969 All mammals can swim - but probably not in toilets ><

  • boring and waste of time

  • ohhh its so cute!

  • What ninja is trying to say is the distance isn't high enough for the glider to get to a full glide its more of a fall because they have to fall quite a few feet to start their "glide" otherwise they kinda plop.

  • dude that is a fucking scary looking animal. not cute at all. looks like what the grandchild would look like if a possum fucked a squirrel and their kid ended up fucking a bat.

  • lol awwww they are sooo cute even though i belive all wild animals should be left alone in the wild alot of people do take good care of these amazing animals and i can see you take great care with yours. awsome job.

  • hello

  • @dontlikeshortpeople heyy lol

  • @kortnimoore2008 how u doing

  • Haha! Yours still nibbles too eh? I get my toes bitten all the time!

  • @MrKnaveX That was me.

  • @MakiMaki962047 that wasnt you! it was way too high pitched..... unless you squealed or something

  • @evster123c I pulled air through my teeth. Not to mention, I can make some pretty interesting noises. Haha.

  • iheard they stink is it true

  • @Condor1616 They don't really stink, but they do have a slight sweet, musky smell to them. They'll only 'stink' if you go without cleaning their cage for a while.

  • I'm so jealous.... I've done my research because I'd been wanting a couple. But they can't go outside to play or they'll escape lol. My ratties were good with not straying far from me. I loved taking them to fairs and things when it wasn't too cold or hot outside. They'd sit on my shoulder and we'd get funny looks from strangers. <3 Sugar gliders though... CUTE!

  • Sugargliders aren't supposed to be kept in a hampster wheel... ( I think). Lol

  • @23ballababy The hamster ball is a hideout, not something for them to run around in. (I'd be amazed if they'd be able to run around in that, LOL). But no, they're not supposed to actually be able to run around in them. They can get their toes caught in the little air slits.

  • @MakiMaki962047 haha. i put mine in one all the time. If ive got to do stuff and want them out of the cage i put them in theirs. lol. they seem to love it.

  • @jttlr101 It can be dangerous if they're running in it. If you can't watch them, they shouldn't be out.

  • @MakiMaki962047 yea. It can. I meant i keep a eye on them but when i dont want them crawling all over me when im trying to do stuff. they love it. Every since i got them i have put them in it. atleast once a day. lol. I put them separate and the r so cute because they follow each other.

  • @MakiMaki962047 How much does a sugar glider cost?

  • @Mr291229 Depends - they're not cheap though. You have to take into consideration not only the cost of the glider, but the cage, food, vet bills, etc. Plus they're a 15 year commitment - that adds up over time.

  • sorry for the previous comment that was my brother

  • how much did they cost?

  • @MultiGamesfreak I got them for $100 off of CraigsList. They were very unsocialized and I spent months of my hands looking like hamburger meat from them biting me so much and had to work with them A LOT. I would recommend getting them from reputable breeders; they normally cost $150 per glider, but they are well socialized with people so you don't have to go through that.

  • @MakiMaki962047 yay i could buy 2 then

  • I Want To Get A SugarGlider In Ny Queens But I dont KNow Where To Buy One

  • @Nuffskillz1 You should always get at least two. Many reputable breeders will ship their gliders. I had my leu shipped from Tennessee to Arizona. They sleep the whole way. :)

  • ummm yea i think u have to give me those gliders or else!!!

  • awww when it first draw it was like EEE :D

  • I love the little war cry the first one does

  • @evster123c That was me.

  • @MakiMaki962047 that was a HUMAN making that noise?

  • wat do they cost

  • @Nateby101 Depends on how you look at it. Not cheap, in the long run. Cage, vet bills, food, etc. are the most expensive part to owning them.

  • how much do these cost

  • omg that was so cute i want one but i have 2 ferrets.

  • you can't keep them in a ball

  • @marksgernade It's not for them to run around in. It's more for them to sleep in. I put fleece blankets in it.

  • I have two named Bill and Louise who I am uploading videos of!

  • lol did u train it??????????????????

  • @yoshiwab Kinda, sorta, not really. Once you establish a bond, they learn to trust you and they want to be with you. So it's sort of like training, but it's more they want to be with me. :p
