There is nothing wrong with Rikku's voice, I think the English "its showtime girls" was really out of character for Rikku she sounded like she was older than Rikku. I love how the 3Dness of Yuna was different, she looks more glossy when she transforms from Summoner to Songstress while she looks less glossy in the English version

No doubt Koda Kumi's versions of the songs were conducted better, but her deep voice does not fit Yuna's character all compared to Jade's softer versions. (especially worse once you realize Yuna's Japanese voice is really high-pitched)

Alot of you have not been to Japan. Alot of Japanese say they prefer the english version. There are alot sounds in english they really like. The the Rah sound for the letter R. There are 2 different speaches depending on your sex. Women use the word Wa alot. It softens the sound of the sentence making it more polite. If you have a normal breathy voice and live here awhile the lady folk tend to like how I speak. My girlfriend keeps asking me to say Refrigerator alot because of the sound

Japanese version rocks! I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but...i don't understand how anyone could like the english version better. If you like english so much, listen to Real Emotion being sung in english BY the original singer, Koda Kumi. She has an english version for it too. I don't understand why they changed the singer in the english version...maybe because Koda didn't pronounce some of the english words properly...

XD I agree that the japanese version of the song is better. The english singer for real emotion seriously cracked in higher notes. She also liked to slur high and low notes which was really hard on the ears. The lyrics for english real emotion were great though :). I just prefer the japanese singer. (I'm a vocal major so I know).
