lol i didnt hv to craft it at all i just found some people in the woods and killed them and they had elven armor and i was level 3

ok theres an infinatly easier way in doing this just jump under the map realy quick (which is easy to do in both console and pc) then go around to the skyforge and steal his underground money and his crapload of moonstone sometimes he even has elvin armor which u can just take

Can you find elven armor or any other armor besides steel? Because i just beat the main story quest and i want some good armor but all i have is steel. I dont want to smith but is thier any other possible way to get any other good armor like elven or orcish etc.?

Some blacksmiths sell pieces ocasionally and you can find it as loot. That's not very reliable though, and you're probably going to have to invest in Smithing to get the exact set you want.
