is it possible to downgrade from 4.3U, because thats what I have now. Let me just explain that the reason I updated in the first place was because I was following a guide in removing an error 002 for the backup launcher app. But now that I updated I cant even run the backup launcher ( goes to black screen) and I cant install the necessary wad files to remove the error. Why is hacking the wii so complicated??

You need an older version of wad manager or a version that matches with your homebrew channel version. And Diabolomania2000, You need to uninstall internet channel, download a older version(google it), get its wad(same version)and, install that, or you may just need cIOS249-rev6 and IOS55 or 36.

When you start the Wad manager, install IOS16, then install cios_fix.wad. If cios_fix gives you an error, use cIOS_249-rev6_rr.wad.

IOS16 SHOULD still install. This downgrade only works for 3.4, and below, not 4.0.

I advise any of you on 4.0, with the Homebrew Channel, to use it to get to version 3.2, where you'll be safe because the Twilight Hack will still not work from what I've heard, but you can copy it to the Wii from your SD card only on 3.2.

There's no reason to update to 3.4. You can still play GH: WT, if it's the update you don't want to do, use Gecko OS to bypass it. You saw in my video GH: WT was in my Wii when I was on 3.3, when I went to 3.2, it asked for a disc update. If that's not your case, then what is?

You didn't need 3.3, but I recommend 3.2 incase anything semi-bricks you. You'll still be able to use the Launcher, just some games won't work in the future because of a #002 error, which is why the 002 error fix launcher is needed, or you can fix the error manually.

You're hopeless for now, but there's still a way out of it. IOS249 was left unharmed, and Nintendo mistakened it for IOS245. IOS249 is the only IOS that may keep the .wads working again. You'll need to wait for now. The Backup Launcher still works if it was installed before the update, but the GC Launcher does not work from what I'm hearing.

cIOS is the firmware version changer. Just be changing the firmware, doesn't get rid of Nintendo's fake IOSes from keeping things from working. This is why the other steps are needed to get rid of them. The cIOS Downgrader is in the download in the description. By the way, no need to burn at 3x, recommended you burn at 4x.

Ah, then you're down to the beginning. You must install IOS16-v257-prod.wad, and then install cIOS_fix.wad (cios_246-rev6_rr.wad if that one gives you an error) with the Custom Wad Manager. Also, use the IOS51 installer with the patched version (Don't need to worry about that, it was in the download with the IOS Downgrader).

Hm...true, but look at this, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon runs on a ModChip, bbut if you try to load it with the Backup Launcher, it won't play. I can provide you with the .iso that works for me.
