@ausrobinla I hope you realise people have been doing that ever since YouTube changed the home page. They haven't changed anything yet and the number of people trying to start a "revolution" has gone down. Face it, it won't change it back. When they make another drastic change people will be doing the exact same thing again and then give up after a month or two. You need to see that YouTube makes money from advertisements and that is how they keep the site going for us.

LEGO will represent whatever they want, be it fantasy or otherwise. This fact is clearly evidenced by the range of sets they manufacture; Pirates, Star-Wars, Space Police, City etc...

Certainly LEGO is not in control of "the way the world is" but they are in control of how they represent "the world." And most importantly they are in control of what they put in the products they manufacture.

Put simply: somebody at LEGO thought: "Hey, let's put a surveillance camera on the bike-shop

In a Lego City set I purchased for my Son.

There is a Lego surveillance camera on the bike shop roof! Why is Lego representing public surveillance? What message does this send to our children about the world they are growing up in? Are there terrorists in Lego-Land?
