While I do admit that Heavy Rain did a fair job with the facial construction and representation of the characters, L.A. Noire still knocked it out of the park. Scott Shelby looks the best out of everyone because he looks exactly like his actor. Overall a very good game ^_^ b
It is true that British people deliver way better performances. Think of Leon Ockenden, he's very hyper and charismatic but he's pretending he's quiet and misunderstood. Pascal is very boring and quiet but, he plays someone who talks all the time. Same thing with Johnny Depp.
@pypedreams Don't make generalizing comments like that. Maybe IF the kid could effectively hide his British accent so that we the audience or gamers can truly believe he is an American kid, you'd have a valid point there. But my point stands. Why the hell does a game character that's supposed to be American have a British accent?
@Devilbat74 It's not a generalizing comment, as UK actors often portray Americans in a more realistic fashion, plus the child actors in the game are very young so it's forgiveable, as opposed to major Hollywood stars who can't even speak English properly.
@pypedreams wtf stop making excuses. I read so many times people complain about this because it's completely jarring and throws you off since you're wondering how the hell do they have a British son. And no its not forgivable since I've heard better child actors from here and Britain. It's pretty obvious they grabbed anyone they could. Plus you're not even making any sense right now about portraying Americans.
@Devilbat74 Don't be idiotic, the game creators didn't just randomly pick any child actor to do the motion capture and voice work or they wouldn't of made this behind the scenes video detailing the hard work, especially when a game company puts huge amounts of time and effort into a project of this scale.
why is there so little mention or inclusion of Lauren Winters (Aurélie Bancilhon) in any of the behind the scenes takes. Its annoying because i liked her character a lot more than i did madison.
