  • great music accompanied by idiotic graphics

  • If encouraged, today's kids could get into this type of music. The rhythms and instrumentation are exciting. My parents introduced me to it. My first radio program director added to my appreciation of it. The whole swing era produced some awesome music.

  • Simply great. In those years a Benny Goodman's concert costed just 2.75$. It was Heaven D:

  • @gmail.com Goodman and Krupa werethe best

  • I really wish more teenagers my age would appreciate this type of music. Thumbs up anyone?

  • @SceneyyFoLife 14 :DD

  • This music sounds almost dangerous. I wonder if people treated it like heavy metal back then.

  • I love Rock and Roll. Always have, always will. But this song makes me wanna jump around the house when I hear it. It is just so GREAT.

  • The main reason I joined band and stayed in it... I love This song with a passion

  • i hate rap, techno, dance music, r'n'b or what ever it is and hip hop.

i just think the people that make those songs require no talent

when you see them live, all they're doing is fiddling with a computer and a mixing board while dancing like a homo. I'm only 14 and i will only like the music if talented people made it,

I like this song, I have to play the drums to it in a school band, hard as

this is REAL music, not the bullshit that 009 sound system faggots make.

    what has become of music......

  • Mel Torme on drums? Indeed? Where was this in the vid? Where was that in history? Not that Mel couldn't have played part of a set, but Really?

  • i just fricken love this music. i love big band stuff forget this rap, hiphop, pop krap. this is REAL music i stick with the oldies. LOVE IT!!!!! by the way im 13

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 Yeah, i love those bands better then the others too =)

  • @snakesandbones who says you cant love it all by the way?? lol, go listen to DIA - monster DotX remix, nina simmone sinnerman, hybrid- finished symphony, robotic pirate monkey - jolene, THEN, if youre still interested, listen to PAROV STELLAR - catgroove, Mr Scruff - get a move on, then tell me ALL music cant just get along! cuz it can my song, i just gave you musical GOLD my son, listen to it, i promise you, at LEAST the last 2 songs, esp. if you like this one!

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336

hip hop and rap is still good

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 i'm 14 and i couldn't agree with you more.

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 "by the way am 13" like that matters bitch

  • i love jazz much more than anyone in my family and i also even stop listenen to rap and etc cause i lve this

i can play clarinet and saprano sax and alto sax and im 14

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 Yes, I know you love this, I love this, everyone loves this. However, why must people always add '..I'm (age)'? Attention seeker?

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 ska!!!

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336

I just love this kind of music, it makes me happy, it makes me move, and it puts all these wonderful black and white images in my head! :)

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 WOOT SAME BRO!

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 my thoughts exactly!

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336, I love this music to, but i still cant forget country music too! Im 12.

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 I can't agree with you more. The music today is pure trash.

  • @NikkiAndSamShow336 ah, yes. i'm 13 and like tosay that there aint no school like the old school.

  • This is what u call real music-unlike the majority of todays music which is nothing but noise and trash with no meaning!!

  • This is how it should be played. Most definitely, it's a swing song. :D

  • thank you muchly. i can't get enough of this track

  • Victor C-28 album of 12 inch 78s also had Fats Waller, Tommy Dorsey and Bunny Berigan songs, though I fail to hear any difference on some of the sides when compared to the 10 inch 78 versions, Sing Sing Sing being the exception.

  • thank you for the all to brief information on their background, it is truly a delight to know more!

  • Is there anywords???

  • any dames wanna dance? :O)

  • That is Sid Ceasar, Howard Morris (Earnest T. Bass), and Carl Reiner in the audience.

  • 3 people can not sin sing sing

  • It must have been amazing to hear this music onstage way back when. Amazing song.

  • @cdadave83814 My mother saw Benny Goodman in Boston in the 1940's. I always envied her.

  • I actually like some of the earlier versions, better. In this one, the tempo seems just a tad too fast......like they're double parked or something.

  • @Deltoid71 i think i know why. because newer jazz is kinda fast so they wanna stay on that new beat

  • @Deltoid71 I'm a drummer and I think Mel's performance here is spot on-tempo, phrasing, technique is all fabulous. I think you're nit-picking!

  • Woah, Tormé on drums? Did not see that one coming.

  • Krupa always play Slingerland drum

  • I first heard of Mel Torme in 1944, when he had a song being played on a Chicago Radio station. He was a "local boy" who'd made good appearing on radio shows being broadcast out of Chicago and in some movies with Frank Sinatra.

  • yeah!

  • I never knew Mel Torme was such a great drummer! Thanks for posting this!

  • i do knwo this song, has it been in a movie orsth,

    by the way its amazing!

  • @SteeeveStiffmeister

Yeah, it was in the Disney movie Tower of Terror

  • first
