Well, there's a lot of reasons to question the founding fathers and the constitution itself. But, it's probably not fair to call the founding fathers 'insane' because they owned slaves. That time and place in history needs to be taken within it's own context. That's the same grounds I'd use to examine the constitution in 2011, because so much has changed since then which requires interpreting the constitution in a way that makes sense in our own time and circumstances.
