  • that looks awesome. Is it expensive to get aerobatics training??

  • All flying is expensive, but aerobatics sorties tend to be quite short which helps to keep the cost down. Some aerobatic aircraft are thirsty - the 300 hp Extra that I fly gets through 100ltrs per hour doing aeros. Basic trainers like the Slingsby or Bulldog are cheaper.

If you want to try it, look for an aerobatics trial lesson on the internet.

  • @aerobaticfreak sweet thanks, hoping to obtain a scholarship soon to get an NPPL :)

  • @Louisthefish23 Try GAPAN - they have some busaries etc. Don't bother with an NPPL - you might as well go for the full PPL to which you can add some useful ratings - night, IMC etc.

I hope to be able to offer aerobatics instruction in a Slingsby T67m based at Redhill soon

  • @aerobaticfreak hmmm suppose, but this was advertised at my college and its based at blackbush near where i live so want to exploit the chance to get a lisence because just fly also it contribute to be being selected for pilot training in the army, because after this year at college i hope to join the army as a officer and go for the army air corps, but initially i wanted to fly fighters but my colour visions isnt good enuff. :/ but those busaries seem like i good idea

  • @aerobaticfreak
