Saxophonist isn't very good (or in tune), reed sounds warped. Mouthpiece is too far to the side of his mouth and his embouchure isn't strong, and he doesn't know how to tongue. Guitarist is great but isn't in tune.

btw it doesnt matter weather you play in between your legs or out to the side, its about comfort to the individual. most alto players play in between the legs, tenors are usually more comfortable playing to the side but whatever.

The effect I could see is that playing with the sax in between the legs requires you to keep the chin up, whereas the sax being off to the side allows you to lower your chin, slightly affecting your airflow. Personally, I don't see all that much difference when I play.

as some people have said, it's not bad, you guys just need to tune to each other. that's why you both sound out of tune. you might be close to in tune by yourselves but in a duet it is crucial to listen to intonation. the guitar can't do much, but the sax can adjust his pitch while playing so that's your job in a duet. good work. keep it up :]

i think the rythm is there, the enthusiasm is great, and so is the playing together.
