@ojmccaf63 i think it's because this movie was released on a cable channel (i forget if it's usa or tnt) while social netword was a major movie production. i agree with you though. this movie was much better done and far more compelling than social network.

One of my favorite movies,Pirates of Silicon Valley dramatizes Bill Gates and Steve Jobs when they were in there 20's struggling to become the first in the tech-industry.

Today we know the corporations as Microsoft and Apple. Now we know the road to success also leaves behind a trail of carnage.

I recall in the movie Steve Jobs played Everybody Wants To Rule The World at the company beach party in the 80's.I'm sure this song is probably still his favorite over Bill Gates acid rock music.

Great movie. Jobs got schooled by Gates because of the fine print. And now in 2008, he's still being schooled. While Jobs keeps his tiny kingdom, Gates retires ruling the world and the 2nd richest man on the planet. What a legacy! Jobs overconfidence lead to his downfall and while he's returned to power, the Mac's are sitll number 2. King of all Pirates, Bill Gates.

Bullshit. Jobs didn't kick out Woz, he left Apple for personal reasons. Wozniack himself has directly stated so on his website.

If you read woz's autobiography you can't help but feel that there is some bad blood. Woz is a true geek, he took engineering with apple to the next level and changed the whole PC revolution. Job's overconfidence in what he things is art will be the reason he will long remain a second place platform. Jobs is a marketing genious (there is no doubt about that) but i dont see the macs as the greatest things since sliced bread, and no i dont see a computer as being a artistic thing.

Yeah but what we didn't know when they shot Pirates is that Steve Jobs was plotting to get his company back, which he did! Thanks to the iMac, iPod, and Pixar animation, he's as big as he once was.
