Hers is much smaller but way harder to use. I made a large one like what you bought and then a small one like in the video. I started on the large one and then switched. Smaller hoops are commonly referred to as "trick hoops".

I may be wrong, but I believe Spiral uses anywhere from 33-35" in diameter with 1/2 in tubing. I've sized down to a 33" with 1/2 in and it's super fast--very difficult, but I've adapted well. Watching Spiral do her thang with a hoop that small is simply amazing!
