  • Loves to run!!! I wish my lab was that quick. Same drive to catch rabbits but they always get away

  • he could be digging truffles??????

  • He certainly seems keen on hunting, he'll make a great little hunter.

  • I saw him catch a bush, not a rabbit.

  • good to see a keen young dog and never mind the idiots here. They are lucky their ancestors hunted or they wouldnt be here to whine, moan cry and generally be useless to the world. I hunt and am eating my catch, how is this wrong? Steak at the shop doesnt grow on polystyrene trays!

  • I love my whippets, they go nuts when they see a hare. They're sighthounds, not "thinkhounds" though!

  • awesome dog

  • i see no rabbit?

  • nice dog, ive got a laguna whippet atm called fly, ive been out when hes caught a hare running uphill in the lakes before, i shit you not

  • aww cute

  • only retards would have their dog do this. Do you consider what the experience is like for the rabbit?

  • @omnipotentbeing did you consider watching the video before commenting?

  • @omnipotentbeing .... you didn't watch the video

  • @SuperBadwolfie You can't spell you " FAIL" !!!!!!!! haha

  • nice dog

  • I am a follower of New Guinea people's feeding habits. I want to hunt human beings to eat them: unfortunately this is not legal, why? It is nature. So I watch Dexter and try to find a bit of consolation... I would like to hunt sportively, strong humans of course, not children - hunters are among my favourite prowls! best quality proteins, fresh blood...mmmm!

  • @Vendetta8775 Hi Vendetta, there are a few humans I would like to eat but... I prefer rabbits and foxes. Thanks for your comment. Understand where you are coming from.

  • Mein schwarzes Blut und dein weißes Fleisch

ich werd immer geiler von deinem Gekreisch

der Angstschweiß da auf deiner weißen Stirn

    hagelt in mein krankes Gehirn

My black blood and your white flesh

I will always become hornier from your screams

the cold sweat on your white forehead

    hails into my sick brain

  • @Vendetta8775 ohhh, i knowhow you feel, srr bout any errors, my paws are too bigfo this laptop i found... i perfer hunting animals that pu up fights. my favorite is most likely,hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... sheep? yeah, and when the farmer and his hounds cme out... so fun.

  • WHIPPETS FOR LIFE!!!

  • nothin can stop a hound dog

  • @pookie1132 actually a whippet ran into my dog to try and bite him in the woods and i think it must've broke its own neck cause it hit the floor with a yelp and didnt move again. I stayed in touch with the owner and it had to be pts as it wasn't getting any better after a week.

Great dogs though, thats why i watch the vids, really like to see dogs hunt.

  • That is one BEAUTIFUL whippet!!

  • wow, u have 1 big whippet there, i have 2 smaller whippets, that used to race but dont anymore, they dont hunt though

  • @Caplonco , Spike was the biggest dog of the litter. He is bred for hunting. My friends have dogs the same height but not as solid. He is a very quiet and friendly dog.

  • Nice dog.

  • can we buy it of you 300 pound

  • Sorry Paddy he is my best mate. Just don't tell the missus. :)

  • I smiled through the video. I recognized the familar giggle of the owner at the end. Sounded just like me with my three whippets.

  • the dog looks like a rat

  • you better buy a rabit couse that dog is useless!!!

  • @alexadolff It's a 4 month old pup ffs!!

  • tht dog is a joke lmaoooo

cudnt catch fleas never mind a rabbit

y nt just get a lurcher n get sum fox n hares rather than waistin ya time on rabbits

  • My whippet's family tree is 90% racing dogs. His dad was the highest rated whippet racer of the UK for a time. At 4 months old, my dos was about this tall and in his prime he ended up taller than the other whippets. He only difference between my dog and this one is that this one's neck looks to be thicker.

  • Comment removed

  • He's pure whippet, just way-overfed. This video brings back a lot of memories of my whippet. He had the exact same sounds, expressions, mannerisms, and color patterns. So much fun to play with.

  • looks to be a bit of bull in him

  • that vid should be renamed" spike the whippet showing how he catches muck"

  • that whippet youve got is not a whippet its a lurcher, and if he's only 4 mnths old in the vid, he's gonna be a big one. whippets rarely grow to more than 22-23 inches at the shoulder, your pup is about that size now. dont let him growl or use his voice either if you want him to hunt. sorry dont wanna piss on your bonfire.

  • Hi Parker, Spike was 5 months when I took the video. He is the same height as the tall whippets he mixes with but he is very solid. I now reckon the breeders showed me dud papers. Reckon you are right about being a lurcher. He has turned into being a very quiet dog. Thanks.

  • There are lots of whippets who are large! Doesn't mean they are not purebred, just genetics. I have had one in a litter go oversize and we have generous heights in Canada and another in the litter be quite small. Big dogs in the pedigree!!

  • @parkerknoll1 i think it might be a whippet, cause the pedigree whippets have bigger heads n all compared to our non peds and when we did whippet racing they were bigger dogs to. or it might be greyhound whippet cross. Have you any whippets?

  • hi m8 nice littel whippet u got ther just a littel 2 loud but he will get over that wen he is older marking well tho he knows ther is some one in happy hunting pal

  • hey, ive got 2 whippets - 1 is a weapon the other seems hopeless when it comes to the chase. Does yours get hold of rabbits in brush or out in the open? The first time just come natural or did you catch a rabbit, release it in a field and let him chase? Im australian to and i know my boys would love it

  • Hi ry, Buy some stuffed toys that have a color like rabbits from the op-shop. Use a rod like a broom handle tie a strong line and dangle the toy in front of him. Make it jump and drag it along the ground and let him catch it now and a again. When he catchs it let him hang on to it and shake it with your hand so he hangs on tighter. Give him a treat. let the other dog join in. Greg.

  • omg....I love whippets!

  • wat age is d dog in d vid????

  • Hi bummer he was 5 months old. He is a very quiet dog, loves playing with kids and chasing rabbits.

  • ha ha, brill, you just need a ferret, class dog, hope hes doing well.

  • at what part did he catch tha rabbit..?

  • He is now catching rabbits and is doing his part to rid Australia of ferral rabbbits (and loving it).

  • That dog's very smart.
