why do they use Bob Tracey for a voiceover for that Indian Tribe sponsor thing but not for the other stuff i.e. open and close V/O?? I can't stand Charlie Van Dyke's voiceover! bleh! Bob is much more professional and modern sounding to me!

@TaylorMMontgomery He is the biggest V/O in usage for stations. Too deep is sometimes too bad.

I don't know if I would go as far as to say that he is the most widely used v/o artist, but Charlie is definitely popular. Personally Bob and Jim Cutler are my favorites.

For some reason every time I hear either of them, I always think of CW and My Network stations...his voice doesn't sound very "Big 3" to me.

Charlie did the V/Os for WTVJ in the 1980s as well, which is why they may have returned to him. Nostalgia

WTVJ only has the 3rd anchor deliver the top stories as they said. It is similar to what the Today Show does and WTVJ is an NBC station.
