@7:21 is Gulliver's Travels - where I nearly died. I was launched from the raft hitting that rock and got to "swim" 1/4 mile long class 5. Then the next one our raft flipped and I got stuck underneath the length of the rapid. If you are daft enough to do this knowing what you're getting into BEFORE hand (unlike me lol), take the guided raft, NOT the one you paddle yourself. Much higher chance of survival. I will say looking back now, I'm proud to have lived thru this. Do it again? Not likely!
@robincoleman They won't let you take a raft down without a guide anyway. Also, if you've never kayaked, you are ignorant (not referring to you) as hell to go down with one.
This river isn't close to one of the most difficult in the world. It's just huge waters but it can be dangerous.
well, I went long swimming in the first rapid (the boiling pot), and flipped over twice during the whole thing, worst experience of my life, thought this was the end for me, but I got lucky not to get stuck under a rock. Many people enjoy it, though
friends fiance drowned rafting that river. I can understand that after rafting and boarding it myself. It. was. nuts. the day we did it most rafts abandoned and climbed out of the gorge. I thought I was going to die. people were in tears. it was in the few days when it floods and they're not supposed to raft it. wouldn't recommend it to be honest.

The quality of the music is bad... but the song, "Scatterlings of Africa" is one of my favourite songs!
