I firmly, strongly, pragmatically & logically believe that he (ALI) is the greatest athlete (if i narrow it further) as a boxer and above all as a moral man as we all are first humans so called civilized beings. Therefore I will judge a person firstly & most importantly on the basis if his/her ETHICS, he fulfill both criteria, as a supreme boxer and human being as well.

Yes. Ali in his prime would defeat any boxer in any era, in my opinion. Everyone talks about how Tyson's punching power would end Ali, yet these people seem to forget that Ali defeated the likes of great punchers such as George Foreman, Earnie Shavers and Sonny Liston. "Most" people believed Ali had no chance against heavyweight champion George Foreman due to his punching power, but Ali took everything Foreman had, and slowly picked him apart. Ali was the full package, The Greatest.

If you know nothing of these fighters or these bouts, look them up and watch them, their all on youtube. Check out Ali vs Frazier, then Frazier vs Foreman, then Foreman vs Ali. In the Ali vs Frazier bout, you can see how much of a challenge Frazier (one of the greatest) was for Ali. Then watch the Frazier vs Foreman bout, and see how quickly Foreman dismantles Frazier. This should give you an idea of the punching power of Foreman, in whom was defeated by Ali.

I firmly, strongly, pragmatically & logically believe that he (ALI) is the greatest athlete (if i narrow it further) as a boxer and above all as a moral man as we all are first humans so called civilized beings. Yes. Ali in his prime would defeat any boxer in any era, in my opinion. Everyone talks about how Tyson's punching power would end Ali, yet these people seem to forget that Ali defeated the likes of great punchers such as George Foreman, Earnie Shavers and Sonny Liston. "Most" people believed Ali had no chance against heavyweight champion George Foreman due to his punching power, but Ali took everything Foreman had, and slowly picked him apart. If you know nothing of these fighters or these bouts, look them up and watch them, their all on youtube. Check out Ali vs Frazier, then Frazier vs Foreman, then Foreman vs Ali. In the Ali vs Frazier bout, you can see how much of a challenge Frazier (one of the greatest) was for Ali. Then watch the Frazier vs Foreman bout, and see how quickly Foreman dismantles Frazier. This should give you an idea of the punching power of Foreman, in whom was defeated by Ali.

Lewis fought Holyfield when Holyfield had heart problems, fought Morrinson when Morrinson had STD's, fought Ruddock after Ruddock had quit boxing, and fought Tyson when Tyson was completely washed-up and drugged. Lewis was older than Tyson, but he was still in his prime. Put Lewis in prison for 4 years, and then see how he does against a prime Mike.

Tyson is around 12/13 mark on all reputable boxing lists, Ring, Espn, Boxing Illustrated etc. He beat a puffed up light heavy and a 38 year old holmes, a lot of bums and average fighters.
