@Fendz I think they improved the gameplay, but the difficulty IS too easy. I also miss heat. ACV looks like it's gonna maintain some more intuitive gameplay but hopefully bring back some of the pizazz that made Armored Core so attractive in the first place.

SInce Kojima Energy is what your primal armor is made of, its also used with stuff like VOB and the answerer. IF you see Green Energy, its most likely kojima energy. the ball is just what holds the energy if you look at a kojima rifle, you see some balls like the one you saw on it. thats the energy

this game is a very good game if ur just buing the ps3 it pushes its graphics to the limit its fast paced and has many level of enjoyment for begginers and it overs replay value with different story each successful play through(3times) and its hardness to master how to build the ultimate mech for ur play style but still fun to learn just try to make sure a buddy gets the game 2 since online play is killer japanese players will laugh at u as they drop u out the sky so train with a buddy 1st

how do u unlock the mission defend line ark? i know i gotta do defend megalis first but i cant unlock it either =( this has really been eating me up

You get the "Defend Megalis" mission by first doing the "Defend GA Transport" mission. Then do two other missions.

Avoid completing these two missions:

1. Defeat AF Stigro

2. Defeat Unknown Next + No Count

Otherwise "Defend Line Ark" won't appear.

There actually was an anime made for Armored Core, but it was based off of the older series and never really made it to out of Japan.

The anime is called Fort Tower Song. Some info might say it's a novel. I refer it as an anime, but there's barely any info on the novel/anime to even call it either one.

There is also a manga for it called Tower City Blade, but again close to zero info on it.

I'd like to see another anime made. But I want to actually see it, not just know it's stuck in Japan.

yes theres a japanese version and english if u are in us jsut go to gamestop no toys R us doesnt have it i checked 50 times yes its like 50-60$ depending on tax so if ur in us its ganna be in english by ubisoft its a great game its for playstation and xbox should paly it online once u beat it and get better i give it a 8.5-9/10 so yea =D

Lynx war leads to FOR ANSWERS storyline as the Lynx war caused the economy and the world to become how it is in FOR ANSWER.... it's basically an expansion for it with more parts different ( but almost the same ) levels...

i just played the demo(japan only) and i have to say that once i get my own personal AC and play the story mode, im gonna b hooked. this seems to have easier customization(finally), and the big city like things u have to kill r fun as shit, except in the video i can only use the first AC which makes it more work than play. cant wait to get it, and im challenging the blade clan. i had fastest the fastest AC in AC4 and im a good blader. look me up when ur up for a challenge...gamertag:Papado

you can see the trailer in gametrailers and it's coming out this september

if ubisoft bought the rights to publish then it will be brought here.

2008 was ubisofts best finical year (assassins creed anyone?) so they are taking on more projects. splinter cell conviction has been pushed back possibly even to 2010 most likely because of new projects, AC4:A is probably one of them. Lets hope so.

It looks like The states Are not going to be getting Armored Core 4 answer because Sega isn't planing it any time soon. This is because of Armored Core 4's sells not reaching the desired amounts. It is really to bad to. America might of lost a great Mec game to loss of interest. For those who are dedicated to the seriers and those new comers to it like me this is a disappointment.
