Luca covered this song. Helloween did this song in 1988 (not too sure on the year, but it's around there).

Honest question. I thought it was Luca's before I discovered Helloween. A bunch of Power Metal bands cover Helloween stuff, and people don't even realize it. Rhapsody has done a cover, Hammerfall has done a cover, (i think) Sonata Arctica has done a cover... the list goes on.

Hell, Gamma Ray and Iron Savior were founded by Helloween's first singer, Kai Hansen. Stormwarrior draws almost all their inspiration from Walls of Jericho (add also a little Viking mythos).

this solo sucks. I mean, its cool, but i feel it like a fucking incomplete solo. There are bridges that are uncomplete, like the first one, or other melodies that could go longer. This solo is just a shortened version of what could be an absolute kickass solo, and it looks like helloween wanted to finish it fast. It hurts to hear this song and think about what could it be if they putted more effort
