what a great band!!! that's all my youth.i saw them yesterday in France 35 years after the first time .always the same energy!!!and so good.mais pour moi tout s'arrete apres Blue for you leur dernier grand album.Rocking ll over the world fut le debut de la fin.
Anyone remember those good ol days of Wantey party seven cans and the obligatory stupid dance where two people each bashed there shoulders against each other in time to Quo numbers?
What the fuck was that dance called..if it ever had a name?
It`s Gibson SG Jr guitar that - as can be heard to full effect on "Paper plane" and indeed the rest of the magnificent Piledriver album - sorely missed!!
Reading between the lines, I think Parfitt prefers the SG to the Tele, but reckons it wont stand up to the punishment he gives his guitar. Ive always thwt the SG is a chunky ol plank!
one line too many me thinks lol !!!! great all the same

You mean Mud's 'Dyna-mite' dance? Also practiced by the Hell's Angels security @ the Stones concert in Hyde Park, 1970.

Yeah that dance but I think it did have a name. I moved on from that dance, grew my hair and became a headbanger lol

I love the green "Tele" and that's one strange SG....one P90 in the bridge position. Sounds good to me.

Rick used the SG a lot in the early 1970's

Right, and Nancy Wilson from Heart uses the same 1 pickup guitar except hers has a Bixby on it. Gotta love 'em.
