Great graphics! After over 25 years with MSFS, I just bought XPL9. FSX can do much and has millions of free add-ons. However - even on my excellent computer I have FPS issues. Sorry for FSX team to develop a super sim that only few can use... Anyhow, it seems that there is nothing after FSX - so for the moment will use FSX and XPL!!! Let's see which will win.
hmm untill more commercial aircraft developers show up for xplane I staying with fsx for now. but I am awfully jealous of the sloped runways, these kinds of quirky dangerous airport aren too great in fsx with the flat tarmacs. no up sloped landings at certain dangerous airports, and which one was it with the dangerous lump in the runway, just flat in fsx.
@nassault I think you missed the realisme options and flew default arcade settings in fsx with default or free planes.
@JSAirways I have come across and got myself courchevel and lukla addons for fsx which implement sloped runways. Which at least puts 2 of the main attractions concerning sloped runways into fsx :)
@InnSewerAnts yeah, I have the lukla add-on aswell. And I must say that some of the sloped runways in x-plane don't really look too good. I think I'll stick to fsx and it's add-ons for now. (I have about 20GB of just add-ons!)
A very naive statement, x plane 9 comes with over 60 gig of scenery, how much more do you want,its the best scenery ive come across by far and ive flown on X plane ,fsx and fs9. Bye the way, X Plane 9 is a flight simulator. and not a game.

Flight simulator is a piece of shit, and a waste of plastic. It's the most unrealistic flight simulator man-kind has ever created. Alright, in FSX, I could punch in a few numbers and make a flying house. However, in X-Plane, no matter what you did, that house would never fly. It doesn't have an airfoil, or ANY form of a flight model. FSX sucks donkey boner.

I think fsx is better. X-Plane takes to much Room on your pc.
