I know gangsta rap was selling like crack in the mid 90's....so most people didn't want to hear PE. Hip-Hop nowadays seems to be controlled by the major labels which promote guys who would have never be permitted to record in the 80s or early 90s. Maybe the term "corporate rappers" would be best to describe those guys.

Was always one of my favorite songs back in middle-school but I never saw this video, MTV most likely censored it just like By the Time I Get to Arizona, Welcome to the Terrordome, and Hazy Shade of a Criminal.
