  • collecting seeds is 3/4 of the fun of gardening i use the lil shot glass size dixie cups to dry and rule of thumb the bigger the seed (Beans Cucumber Squash) will have a lower self life for seeds

    beans after a year will go from 90% germination to about 60%

  • Excellent : ) Metal cookie tins work great for storing seed packets. A paper notepad is good to make extra seed packets. Oh, carrot seeds are collected from the main stalk because seeds collected from branches might select for branching, and branching carrots are difficult to dip : )
