THE BEQUIN TRILOGY WAS A YEAR AWAY THIS TIME LAST YEAR! I feel like i've just been shot through the foot by a bolter at point-blank :O I know Dan's a busy man but ahhhhhh!!!!
When I read Ravenor I immediately thought you were projecting yourself onto the character. He's like what I imagine most authors to be: he writes books and likes then to be liked! His mind is his greatest asset and he's strangely compassionate and friendly for an inquisitor.
Yes, there were a few other things. However, I think the best "dark" fantasy, seems to come out of England, with the exception of a few of our really over-the-top good horror writers. I don't know why this is the case? More history? It shouldnt' seem like they'd be darker, given that the stood up to Nazi bombardment for 4 years and responded with "So, that's all you've got".
@furashgf Good question and it would be unfair to dictate a definite answer. There's a rich cultural history, there's plenty of turbulent history itself to refer to or notice while we're growing up, it's naturally the home of the English language... and I suppose that maybe once it got going then it grew and expanded from there.
I love these, but I have noticed that you edit it so that he answers the same question twice? Like in this one 'when is the Bequin trilogy coming' is answered twice, it seems like a waste of time? Keep it up though!

It's weird to hear his accent. I know W40K is British, but Ijust hear him as an American.

@ashers123 Sometimes a question is asked twice if there is no other way to name-check a fan who hasn't had a mention, but I take your point.

Loken is cool Dan but wouldn't say he was as cool as a Space Marine could get. I'd rather be Priad personally.
