Wii SD card DVD Dump

My SD card doesn't work in my wii my system is 4.0U I've tried a lot its the one especially made for the WII by Sandisk....please help me out here.....I tried FAT, FAT 32 and exFAT still no luck...I'm using Windows Vista...the SD card works fine in my computer.

are you using a modchip or softmod in your wii? and do you have 3.2u firmware?

no its the same card that you have but one time it got stuck for some reason and it didnt come out so i got it out as hard as i can and the sd card was distroid so i got a new sd card and it dosent go in the wii

This is old. Just use twilight hack and install homebrew channel. THere is a dvd dumper by waninkoko. And it lets you dump over wifi!

SD Gecko is the other option to use, I just did this internal mod to prevent having to use an adapter

when u open ur wii will the vc games and or memory still be there?

yes everything will still be there but to insure this that is why I tape down the battery and ALSO back up all my VC and saved games onto a SD card prior just in case, and I used solder of course, and just use a no flux low temp solder you can get at radio shack

dont get me wrong its cool as hell that you can do this stuff with the wii but if all you want to do is watch a dvd surley you have a player somwhere in your house. it would save you alot of time and effort.

of course I have it modded =P what do you think this entire video is about ^_^, furthermore you should ALWAYS have a SD tab in your datamanagment if you've updated your wii to the newest firmware, if you don't have it then your wii is fudged up

you can use this on anything, I just use the wiikey boot disk as that has the program on it (dvddump) otherwise you could always put DVDDUMP on a sd card and load it from a disk that has SDLOAD on it, and I use a wiikey, nothing better and or easier that I've found yet.

So basicly if you dont want your original disc to be damage, you just back it up with the wii with a wiikey and the game then save on a disc by a computer. Is the riped game a full version of the original?

correct, the saved game (ISO) on your PC is the full version and totally playable, -coughcough- even totally playable if you don't want to damage that blockbuster rental

why is what wavy? the TV? it's because I'm recording a picture of a TV with a standard video camera, always will look like that unless it's a plasma/LCD

and as far as what it does if it's installed, allows you to rip games from a real disk to back them up on your computer to a burnt DVD
