i think glee did a good job at introducing those old songs from 90s to younger audience, who obviously are the majority of fans of glee. you know these kids only know songs from bieber, katy, rihanna and some disney stars. with the aura and appeal of glee to younger audience, it's a nice way as well to have them listen to this classical song. nothing on the level of original and other renditions; nevertheless, they do this song justice

i love glee and everything but these two missed the pure emotion and raw feelings that mariah and luther sang with. i don't feel like they did this song justice. they missed all the soul that carried this song through time. i love GLEE believe me but they should have never sang this song if they couldn't do it near the level that mariah and luther did.

@arsenicrain but the thing is they recorded this song before putting in the episode it's not cause Will was freaked out it's cause they just couldn't quite get the songs spirit. Diana and Lionel did great theres a difference between feeling the song and trying to sound good. and Lea was just trying to sound good. the heart was missing from her singing. i just don't think they did it very well. maybe if someone else sang the song it would be better but they didn't serve the purpose of this song.
