It's not as scary as they make out it to be all you see is a few models of grave stones there's not even mist effects or anything it would be cool if you could the dead girl in the ride

right, i know this ride is the first freefall drop ride, but when you enter the room, and drop a tiny bit (when the lights blow) is that controlled, then you fall and the brake fins at the bottom catch you. Is that correct??? :D

I had low hopes for this coaster, (which is unusual because most of the time I can't wait to ride new Alton Towers things) and whilst queueing I began to wonder whether it was worth it. The first drop was bigger than I was expecting, and it was quite clever, but I think that Alton Towers completely over-hyped it, it was very short and not particularly 'scary'. Either way, it was definitely worth going on for the experience, but the re-ride-ability is just not there.

Very nicely put together.

This ride has gr8 theming, & the train dropping in the crypt is a brilliant idea. Just a shame it wasn't a bigger coaster. I know there are height restrictions on the constructions, but it could have gone in & out of the ground, before getting to the crypt. The drop inside could have been bigger too. Having said all that, it's still a good ride & has generated a lot of hype & attention.

I like the way they've kept the corkscrew 'loops' in the park too.
