Oh yeah this REALLY looks like the work of some amateur film maker who has never made a film in his life.

Banksy played you all with his movie. It was never about him, it was about YOU. How YOU morons only follow art for the popular trends, how YOU only care about the name behind it all instead of the content, how YOU fall for commercialized bullshit time and time again.

The characters are irrelevant, the story is a true lie, and the social commentary was brilliant. That's really all there is.

Yeah it's not what Banksy wanted it to be. I love Banksy's art, but this movie was cool. It had my heart beating the whole time. Any art piece I liked, I googled and stared at for like an half an hour. I'm not saying fuck Banksy, but I think MBW did a good job getting me into it. I really wanna start some shit with someone or change something. The more I watch it, the more sheltered I feel. I want to be like Banksy and him and make a difference x) So don't hate.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Mr Brainwash is actually Banksy himself but ya never know. No one knows much about Banksy. He could be an amazing actor, literate in many languages (including French and computer literacy, hence why a lot of his art is so detailed and deployed on street locations in an almost too quick time). He's obviously an intelligent person and I can't believe how many suckers bought Mr Brainwash's art (Banksy clearly made all of Life is Beautiful's exhibitions art).

The editing is amazing and the audio work is top notch. 'Exit through the Gift shop' is Banksy's greatest prank yet!

Its a brilliant Mockumentary & in order to create believability, a lot of leg work needs to be done. For example: creating this piece of trite.
