why dont you produce a film about carp angling on strong rivers like Rhein in Swiss, Sava in Croatia or Dunav in Serbia. Carps from rivers are double-stronger fighters than fat carps from lakes

Hi Stevo, I'd suggest maize. Just soak it over night and cook for about 45 mins until its soft. Grass carp and regular carp love maize. You can add tins of sweet corn and its juice to your feed. You can put 3 or 4 pounds of free offerings into the water and fish with 3 or 4 graines on a hair rig over your baited zone. You might want to try feeding the area for two or three days before you go fishing to attract the fish to feed in that area.
@garethdwatkins could you do a video showing how to make carp bait because my grandfather died when I was very young and he was never able to teach me how to make carp bait and people say its simple but it never seems to work out

What you could do is get a liquid attractant made for carp a can of sweet corn, add 1 tablespoon of attractant per can, heat it up to a boil and let sit overnight-24 hours. Then you have like a soft corn pip bait. You don't need all the fancy rigs because the corn will come off easily, if you can't put it on the hook then it's too big. Or doughbait is good. It depends on lake or river.

@YehItsScott you're so wrong. most commons fight harder than mirrors. the lake size and depth can effect how fish fight, longer bullet shaped carp fight harder than carp with big fat boilie bellies. they fight differently. obviously you havent caught many carp.
@YehItsScott long leaner fish are generally more powerful. The fatter/heavier ones tend to stick to the bottom. Also the deeper the water also gives the impression of a harder fight.

Don't get me wrong they are big fish, but I would rather a week catching these then sitting waiting for one run in the week on the off chance of a real monster.

Been Remy fished peg 5 to the pads it was mad 3 runs at once on one evening about 60-80 fish but only 2 30s but good action. Met Ron at Saussie about 4 years ago he called in to speak to billy
There's no one bait that is best for catching carp, and you certainly can't single out the commons. For double figure fish 10-15mm boilies combined with pellets, hemp and sweetcorn should see the carp get interested in your bait.

@TheStevo3034 use a big lump of bread. float fish it just on the bottom. make sure the bread is squeezed on the hook.
