  • Amazing- played so beautifully and with such perfect interpretation and emotion- and you don't know how to read sheet music? It took me weeks to learn "Comptine d'un Autre Ete: L'Apres Midi"- I don't play it half as beautifully as you, and I was studying every note on the page.

  • this is wonderfull... but I don`t lnow play good... I just know play some notes on piano or keybord... and my english is not so good...

  • amazing beautiful

  • That's Supergay !

  • i just love this video... It's a must, I HAVE to get these songs. now!

and PANDETERICO... I love your music... its really really .... like i just want to float and grasp it but i cant... I feel it.

    I love it.

  • Wow, very beautifull!

  • Thank you very much for this moment. I has feel the music. It's very wonderful.

  • wonderful

  • best comptine d`un autre été I`ve ever heard

  • is it kind of cool nowadays to say you can't read notes??? cause you just feel the music? I think no one would ever say it is possible to learn a language without the vocabulary, but with music everything is different...I think you need to know what happens there to understand tons of emotions the writer tries to express. emotional music isn't just caracterized by playing crescendos or decrescendos...(becoming louder and softer :P )

  • I also can't read music notes not that very well, And I must say.. It's not COOL.. Not at all!

  • but its cool when you can hear and decipher... feel and float. reading is just the theory

  • laughed *

  • ok, i know im gonna get replies calling me immature or whatever. But seriosuly, i leanr without music etc too, so good on you for learning this song too. But seriously, crying at the end... GAY! when u said u felt them, did they hurt or something, seriosuly,, wow, i lighed for a good minute or so. Im sure ill enjoy peoples comments even more.

  • Can you play this well though?

  • thank you for this :*

  • wow...

    ..and i watch it again..

i play two of this pieces too, but it wouldn't ever sound even almost like this

  • omg greeaaat <3

    i love it ^^

  • i notice ONE mistake in the comptine d'un autre ete, but only one note!! :P

    Very well done my friend.

  • you can't read notes and then something so perfect? WOW

  • oh pretty good job!! I love this music.... and the piano wow it´s perfect!!

  • this is just so beautiful ! very good. 5*

  • this video is in my "favoutrite"-playlist. I watch it soo many times. .. wow. it's amazing how you play it, I think because of you we can feel it too ..

  • I'm kinda like pandetercio in a way... I don't know how to read sheets and i know very little about music theory, yet, i look at videos, listen to songs and learn them. Partialy by ear and by watching the notes being played. I even make my own interpretation of them.

Great playing btw :D Its nice to play music, but its even better when you can feel it.

  • It´s amazing:O It gives me a warm feeling, It really touches me.

  • it´s magic =O (=

    <3

  • wow :-)

  • you are really talented! chapeau! like everyone else said: pure emotions and so i like your ending.. it's just a feeling!!! well done...!

  • I wish I could play it like you.

  • It only takes a few minutes to make an impression on me, and this... i didnt even have to listen to the end to know that you're very good... BUT what happened at the end, like the very end... I didnt really like it, but all the same it touched me somewhere...

  • wonderfull

  • WONDERFUL. YOU´RE A HUGE TALENT!!

    thx for you video :D

...i think i don´t have to say that you get 5 * from me ;)

  • You play wonderful! Even though you don't know anything about the piano.. Your plays have so much feeling in it!

I can't read notes either, but I can't play like you either. Wish I could, 'cause I think it's kind a gift if you can play like you even though you can't read notes =)

  • The great Pau Casals would be happy with your feelings in the piano

  • Comptine d'un autre!! well done! i liked the connection between the 2 pieces !!

  • The ending was weird

  • tears are always weird, a mix of many feelings

  • How beautifully played! I know nothing bout piano, but I can feel every note in my heart. Thanks for sharing it with us!

  • yo tampoco se mucho ;) y me se las mismas jaja muy bien, siga asi señor!

    Excelente Comptine d'un autre...

  • amazing!!

  • Beautiful

  • Realmente hermosa.

  • This is the verry right way to play an instrument =D

at least i'll combine both techniques...

i first read notes (if i have some) and than "feel" the music and ad some extra-ultra stuff xD..... it is defenetly more fun than reading notes!

  • it is so beautiful. i can listen to the music many hours

  • it's so beautifull <3

  • it's pretty , you should definitely learn though

i think you might enjoy it

    i do :D

  • i just loooove to hear how you can actually feel the music.

i adore you like hell Francis.

  • Brilliant. I'm like that with the guitar. I dont read guitar notes at all. Just have a good ear for music. Piano, if I know the music by heart, then no music is needed.

Your Amelie music is beautiful. I would like to play it soon!

  • Which is the name of the score before La valse d'Amelie begins? i have the notes for the Valse but begin at about 50th second..

  • La Dispute

  • Yeah, I'm with you on this one. I'm learning to play without music and I think it makes me think more creatively about the music. I know the second two but not the first song you played, but its my next to learn. Kudos! I'm glad there is somebody doing the same thing I am!

  • Waou !! i simply love it ! and i love the way you conceive music !

that was absolutely beautiful , full of emotion , it had it all...(though , the end could have been a bit better ) :)

  • man kanns auch übertreiben..

  • well done :)

but why do you have a piano, if you can't read notes?

  • well, its not necessary to read notes.

i need a piano to play music.

Even not like a machine: reading notes, but feeling and reading it "inside".

Think its something wrong playing the same song fixing your eyes on a paper... than looking around at public, piano, window, or yourself?

    MUSIC

    thats the language

    not a sheetbook or notes

  • @pandetercio True, yet very flawed and unrealistic. Being able to understand and read music will take you much farther with not only your repertoire but abilities to use emotional input in your playing.

You are only playing what interpretations of others that you've heard, it is not truly your playing or what you are capable of.

Everyone has different interpretations.. find yours..

  • @behemeth2000 for all that, there are my own compositions. Where I think, discover, invent, and channel my own feelings. As with people, you have to learn to listen honestly, without prejudice or restrictions. Otherwise, you'll never have a voice. Real voice to be assessed.

  • @pandetercio

Notes aren't music, noone claims it is. They are merely an asset, though a necessary one. There's a reason every musician in the world can read notes.(I'm saying musicians not artists). You've just made som kind of Yann Tiersen medley and added some notes in the right hand...

  • brilliant

  • molt bé :)

  • This is great! Love the song, great piano and well played ^^

I can listen to this all day

  • I love u 4 this!

  • beautiful.

  • Great job man. I eventually want to save up and buy a Steinway, in time. This looks like fun. I used to sneak into a recital hall at school in the evenings and play for hours alone in a gigantic room. It was great!

  • i did the same at school!! I put on the big focus over the piano and played for hours alone. Hope i can repeat it someday with my own grand piano. (but need so a big hall hehehe) thanks so much for listening

  • good job dude...but it's not by ear

  • believe me i learned playing piano by ear. Of course it takes one day or two to learn so a song but i can't read notes.

  • wonderfull.

    speechless.

    <3

  • La valse d'amélie, i can feel it!

    thank you!

  • Excellente tio !! Conozco a Tiersen desde muchos años, antes que saliera Amelie, lo vi en concierto hace años, y tocas realmente muy bien !! Hay mucha emocion, un buen toque y por supuesto el piano suena de p*** madre !!

  • I just love it... every heart can feel it.... thank you!!!

  • Me encantaaa!!! :) Felicidades :)

  • loved the way wich u jumped to each music :D

  • love it :)

  • brilliant. this is the best version of Comptine d'un Autre Ete on youtube. please record this in a higher quality.i am really looking forward to hear that version

    5 stars

  • Muy bonito! Deverdad,

    sigue asi!

Me encantaría tocarlo.

  • Gracias.

  • This is beyond words, so awesome!

The first song you played, what is it called?

  • Thanks so much! This are the songs:

    "La Dispute"

    "La Valse d'Amelie"

"Comptine d'un Autre Ete: L'Apres Midi"

I played 3 more songs, but the man that was recording me, started so late...

  • Ah thanks so much!^^
