Even still its kinda cute and is unique to cat behavior.

@ViolentKisses87 I've heard that when I cat kneads as an adult, whether on a favorite blanket, a toy, or you, it feels like it's in a safe place. Kneading reminds them of being safe and warm and happy with their mothers, so if one does that on you, it feels like you're the safest place to be.

@MrRazorblade999 The cat was once a wild animal. Some of their "instincts" are written in their dna. That movement was to soften and warm the place they were about to sleep, their "nest" in a way. I bought a Persian cat when she was a kitten and she never did that. Then I took home a stray persian that was literally only flesh & bones, the veterinarian said she must have lived on the streets for a long time, she ALWAYS does that, every time she wants to sleep.
