IMHO, no. If you go at it Rambo style, you'll probably find it very repetitive. The game excels at allowing you to strategize and plan your attacks. It's hard to plan run-and-gun attacks.

Is there a way to not do Rambo style if I use my assault rifle? If I plan my attack first I mean.

I suppose but I think you may be in for a rough ride unless you've got lightning quick reflexes and good aim. Especially on harder difficulty levels. In close quarters, as soon as the enemy goes on alert, it's an out-and-out firefight. You're going to find that frustrating to deal with all the time especially out in the bush or in deep grass where you can't see the enemy.
