@jccoop92 I am the door gunner in the Combat Rescue video. Also as a bit of trivia, in the last National Guard theatrical ad called "At This Moment" I am the Soldier transitioning from his rifle to pistol at the 1:54 mark.
@ValyenFluff True, because the aperture was wide open on the lens we were testing, the brightness of the location caused the scenes to blow out pretty bad. So there's a lot of desaturation and tinting after the fact when we did a quick color correction to see if it was usable. Not something we'd do again under controlled conditions in the future.
@RedFang4 Definitely. I despise the UCP colors, but this was piggybacked on a National Guard shoot so that's all I could work with. In Afghanistan my flying kit was all MC.
Man this looks great I've played many of your videos tons of times. This may be just me but the soldiers seem to be in the grit of the war. The guns on the other hand look like they came fresh from the armory. May just be me and it seems very minor as the video itself still seems very impressive well done.
@GreenEyesRedBeams Yeah, I can see that. They try to keep the prop rifles clean for the still-photo shoots. Could definitely use some grunging up for these sorts of shots though, especially for how bright this location was.
Nice Vids nice nice, HOORAHHHH!!!

DO NOT JOIN ANY BRANCH BASED ON THE STUPID COMMERCIALS please. They are usually dumb and inaccurate. Join because you want to and to serve.

how many fps can the panasonic shoot??
love it
MrScarghost141 1 year ago
@MrScarghost141 Up to 60fps, so if your project base is 24fps, then it's essentially 2.5X slow-motion.

After watching this I feel like joining the Army.
Good choice of music.
I can't say anything more because I don't know anything about the matter.
