  • I was looking for that slower ball delivery at 5:49. I think he got Thorpe twice in the same match with identical balls. That was the best disguised slow ball in cricket then Ambrose to Healy in the ODI.

  • wat a player speech less.

  • Walsh the Destroyer...Ambrose the Raging bull

  • Nice upload brother, thank you so much!

  • now who is asshole to dislike this ........guesss they are not trinidadian......

    i miss trinidad

  • walsh and ambrose. they are the 2 greatest fast bowlers of all time.

  • Ambrose was better, but what Walsh achieved was amazing, solid determination and a great competitor

  • Heart of a champion

  • BEN HUR of Cricket World..

  • he was the best entertaining batsman I've ever seen..Man watching Walsh bat is better than any comedy show on TV!!

  • imagine being the batsman walsh is staring down at 0:56 i for one whould be intimidated

  • that was a killer slow ball to Graeme Thorpe

  • dose any1 have a vid bout mike gatting broken nose when he went to west indiez??

  • walsh and ambros, a opening batmans worst nightmare

  • shit those were the days, aren't batsmen lucky these days they dont have to face Courtney at one end, then Curtly straight up next.

  • mi rate di man

  • I always prefered Ambrose to Walsh. Great bowler but I think he took alot of wickets due to Curtly putting the shits up the batsman.

  • dont you think it was the other way around too.

  • my all time favorite along with wasim akram

  • Top bowler and a lovely bloke as well.

  • that slower ball against thorpe is one of the best deliveries i have ever seen

  • 'Oh yes'

So thats where Churchill Insurance got inspiration for their dog mascot

  • this dude and embros were my favourites growing up on the island in the late 90s.

  • absolutely loved the guy and as a kid i remember when he did thorpe with slower ball and he did read the wicketkeeper but they never give him out - one of my favourite of all time and a magiciain with over 530 wickets

  • Bumble said it best about Walsh's brillance near the end: "He lost a bit of pace at the end but he still had a lot of know how" Walsh's career is a great lesson for future fast bowlers.

  • Legend of the game, so consistant and aggresive. Bounce from any wicket. I remember watching him play against England when he bowled 40 overs in an innings. Superb.

  • great cricketer!great man..a legend.

  • what happen to mervin dillion did he retire ?

  • After seeing this its such a sad shame to see the state of West Indian cricket of what its become.

  • Men, today Windies don't have bowlers like Ambrose and Walsh but that don't means that today it's a shame. Now we have Fidel Edwards, Darren Powel, Jerome Taylor and they are great bowlers.

  • great?? even when great Walsh & Amby had lost their pace in later years they were better than any of these 3.....

they can be called just good...& have to toil hard ...

  • Love that look at 00:56. Reminds me of the ROCK from WWE .

  • yeah i see what u mean.. .. tough look...

  • Thanks for sharing these. A great trip down memory lane.

  • a legend no doubt, seems like he played for half a century.
