  • Its a miracle this hasnt been attacked as a terrible film by the crazy athiets. oh well the longer it takes them to realize how great of a film this is, the better.

  • @saurosnake

You've so many misconceptions about agnostics. I'm one... I do love this film. Merry Christmas to you too.

  • thank you for sharing this lovly gem with everyone. happy christmas to you and your love ones !!!

  • I LOVE CHARLIE BROWN !!!!!!! =)

  • 1:21. The best part!

  • great only thing its missing is linus and lucy::{

  • This is by far my favourite Christmas music. Thank you for the posting

  • I seem to be the only 12 year old left who still likes charlie brown D:

  • @GrassyChanThuhOtaku im 9 and im a huge fan

  • Great ''clif note'' version of this cartoon which features REALLY AWESOME MUSIC!!

  • @ansonjew Yes yes, you watch videos until the very last second, you're obviously superior, etc etc. But you still haven't explained how 'some Christians' are acting entitled. Which strongly implies that you're talking out of your arse.

  • how to ruin charlie brown!!

  • The traditions we associate with Christmas--feasts, gifts, trees, and Santa Claus are all pagan and pre-date Christianity. They're fun, and bring people together. What's not fun is the sense of entitlement some Christians these days seem to have. What we now call Christmas is really just a mishmash of many old winter traditions. Ironically, there is no bible record of the date of Jesus' birth, and celebrating birthdays is actually considered idolatry in traditional Christian belief.

  • @ansonjew 'sense of entitlement Christians seem to have these days?' Want to elaborate on that little bit of sectarianism?

  • @TaylorKinsley

    youtube.com/watch?v=DzIoS9_0aA4

  • @ansonjew And what? What's wrong with what he's saying? Granted, I only watched the first few minutes. But it's ridiculous that people can't say 'merry christmas' in case someone gets offended. Just wise up. Do Christians force Jews to make up 'non-offensive' replacements for Happy Hannukah?

By the way, you've in no way said anything about Christians feeling 'entitled.' If you want to continue being such a prejudiced bastard, why don't you get some f*ing evidence?

  • I just finished watching the full episode!

  • can't wait for christmas!! does anyone know where I could find the full version of this episode?

  • "Of all the Charlie Browns in the world...you are the Charlie Browniest"! One of the BEST lines EVER written! LOL I love this classic! Have watched it every single year that I've been alive. Merry Christmas and Peace to all who are watching this as well!

  • What's up with the pretty colored fake trees that go "clonk clonk" when you rap on them? I always sort of wanted one. Why can't they be real?

  • woah - this brings back memories!

  • Absolutely love this, makes me feel very christmassy. I would like to point out thought to mattbenson62 that there is nothing remotely secular about 'Xmas', check out what it says on wikipedia :) Merry christmas

  • It's CHRISTmas.... not xmas!!!

  • The Peanuts are so Classic, so Wonderful...no animated show will ever be like this.

  • I remember my first day i listened to this cartoon. I cried when Charlie Brown supposedly said I killed the tree and i was so happy when they all came together and sang hark the herald angels sing. God Bless Charles M. Schulz he has certainly left his blessing on us, and God bless us all and I look forward to the return of Jesus Christ

  • we are doing this in drama for christmas! yehey!

  • I live for the day when people learn to strip away Santa Claus and Frosty the Snowman and find Jesus at the heart of Christmas...

  • i'm not very religious, but i definitely agree. everything, not just christmas, has become way too commercial within the past how many years. the simple things in life are easily forgotten.

  • @kimmy1790 There is NOTHING simple about Christianity. Im' glad its about santa and Frosty...they are mythical beliefs just like Jesus being "God"..a myth. A legend. An unproven belief. A spook story used to scare the masses and suppress the true intellect and concious of the human mind. MORE CHARLIE BROWN PLEASE!

  • @tropicalpimp You're entitled to your own beliefs. But that doesn't give you the right to talk about other peoples' that way. Why don't you piss off, you arrogant prick?

  • @TaylorKinsley that's where you are wrong, you cum drinking cock sucker. I can very much so talk about anyone and thing I want. Glad I was the one to bust your bubble.

  • @tropicalpimp LMAO. Wow, you really proved your point there, didn't you? You're a bigoted, idiotic, worthless mororn, and the fact that I can tell that from one comment really says a lot about you. Enjoy being a worthless piece of sh** for the rest of your life.

  • @kimmy1790 if you're not religious, then why should it bother you?

  • @kimmy1790 Im not religious either.I am just having a personal walk with God!

  • @HarvestmanMan I agree too. I was recently talking it over with loved ones and the thought came to me: Is there any holiday left that hasn't become commercialized in some form or fashion? Christmas is now Santa, Easter is now the Easter Bunny, Thanksgiving is now football, Fourth of July is now fireworks. What are they going to commercialized next? Make Ash Wednesday about smoking? (I just picked one off the top of my head)

  • @HarvestmanMan Amen! One day everyone will confess Jesus as Lord. What a glorious day that will be for the saints.

  • @GodsServant05 i bet you also think that also jews are going to hell too!! uh hu! thats discrimination!

  • @HarvestmanMan haha but the thing is is that alot people that celebrate christmas arent religious. any anyway if it was all about that it would be all religion and no fun, wat would you do without all those holiday classics!

  • @HarvestmanMan

I live for the day when people will learn to strip away Jesus, have faith in themselves and find Santa Claus and Frosty the Snowman as the heart of the season. And while we are at it lets call it something other than xmas. This time of year was originally celebrated as the Winter Solstice until the christians decided to steal it away.

  • @larkspur35 I assume you're celebrating the Saturnalia then?

  • @HarvestmanMan never gonna happen

  • @HarvestmanMan Honestly, did you never see this Christams special? Linus makes a point telling everyone that Christmas is truly about the nativity: the message is just in a wonderful, delightful cartoon with moments its fans remember and love. If your faith makes you judgemental and grumpy then maybe you need to speak with someone who will remind you of joy in all its forms. Until then try to have a Merry Christmas or at least try not to ruin it for everyone else.

  • @mizmiki65 I don't see how I was being grumpy or judgmental. I also wasn't referring to this special in particular; in fact, this is one of the best Christmas programs out there. What I was trying to say is that Christmas has become a celebration of spending money, gifts, and general commercialism instead of a religious holiday. Even when the ancient Romans celebrated the "Saturnalia," or festival of Saturn, Christmas was a winter holiday.

    Merry Christmas to you too!

  • @HarvestmanMan I agree with you here! I dislike how commercial Christmas has become but at think at its heart, the gathering of friends and family is still alive and well. That part just doesn't get thrown in our faces every where we turn because it doesn't make anyone money except the spiral ham companies :)

  • I live for the day when people learn to strip away Santa Claus, frosty, and Jesus and find the pagan" yule" sun festivals at the heart of Christmas, considering the date, the symbolism, and just about everything we recognize as Christmas came from pre-christian traditions.

Or better yet, I live for the day where people just enjoy the holiday in their way and stop making a fuss about if other people see it the same way they do.

  • @Sarahtdl I don't see how I was "making a fuss." I'm only expressing my opinion. I'm not trying to force anything on anyone, just saying what I believe. Do you dare tell me that's wrong?

And the reason why you see that comment up at the top of the page is because 20 people are with me on this one.

  • @HarvestmanMan I'm sorry. Apparently I need to make this open to all faiths.

I live for the day when people learn to strip away Santa Claus and Frosty the Snowman and find Jesus/Allah/Mohammed/Zeus/Flying Spaghetti Monster/Mister Mormon at the heart of Christmas.

    Better now?

  • @HarvestmanMan Perhaps you don't know where Christmas comes from. Its an amalgamation of many religions, not just Christianity. In fact most of the holiday traditions have nothing to do with Christianity. Historically Christians imposed themselves and turned it into a Christian holiday to take the attention away from other celebrations when people were much more easily influenced. Case and point ... your trying to do it right now.

  • @HarvestmanMan It's a cute cartoon, for crying out loud, it makes people feel good. Only control freaks would see that as a bad thing. The sunset doesn't scream GOD! but we know where it comes from just the same. Recognize love in all things and you will become a lot closer to living that special day you long for. I'm just saying.... :>/

  • the only Christmas cartoon that really gets it right.

  • @jtwidmer I think you need to see .... The snowman

  • Merry Christmas everybody. Been working the midnight shift.....and playing these classics ALL NIGHT LONG. SURE BRINGS BACK THE MEMORIES. Back when as a kid, I couldn't wait for FROSTY & CHARLIE BROWN cartoons on CBS.

  • Beautiful, thank you.

  • LOL I LOVE THIS MUSIC

  • Funny...when I was a kid I didn't recognize the beautiful music compositions. This is very nice.

  • I think subconsciously, that's why we were so into the Charlie brown specials. The songs and the jazzy music were so hypnotic. lol

  • It's official. Christmas is here! Thanks for posting. 5/5 *

  • The blandly fashionable twerps who make kids TV these days would never in a million years consider using music as damn good as this.

  • I received this as Christmas present last year (at 32), and will watch it with my kids every year from now on. My favorite Christmas program of all time. Will be purchasing this soundtrack this year!!!

  • the soundtrack is awesome. I listen to it all year round. the music is just so soothing and cheerful! definitely gets you into the holiday spirit.

  • Sure does!

  • Music by Vince Guaraldi. He was GREAT- did he play with the grateful dead after pigpen died
