This game is just such a fun experience, to play a game that defined a decade all over again and even online is just amazing. To the people wondering why the assault rifle looks like the one in Reach, in the full version of Halo CE Anniversary they changed it back to the original (only, obviously with improved graphics). This is just an older version of the game so the graphics aren't the exact final copy. I have a commentary of the game on my channel and you can check it out if you want.

So 343 lied about the classic mode. It actually takes about five seconds to switch between modern and classic, meaning you have to switch when you're "safe" and not in a dangerous place, which makes the feature less enjoyable. Obviously this was always a problem, they just edited the footage. Why else would they remove instant switching?

I love the campaign, I really do. But I hate how they changed a lot of the 3D designs to be like Halo 2/3 and also some of the new sounds are shit. Shame... :/

Alright I'm sorry but I have to get this off of my chest. One thing is the fact that 343 Industries have been very ignorant in the models for the UNSC Marines. They've used UNSC ARMY Models and not the marines we saw towards the end of the campaign for Reach. Clearly the developers didn't pay attention to how Bungie distinguished the characters. Sorry to be nit picky but it just agitates me how even a bloody game developer screws up the difference.

@Anterlyful I think its worth pointing out in halo 1 2 and 3 all Marines had olive drab armor - you might also want to recall that the troops on the Pelican during the cutscene with Keyes they are presumably Marines, and are in-fact wearing the same gear as the army. So are they army troops in the Pelican with Keyes? Or are they perhaps Marines wearing standard armour rather than heavy assault armor?
