  • Baugh needs to take a trip to Whitby. You can't move for shops selling ammonites.

  • H, my 'good lady wife', who is also an archaeologist, has just seen Ian Juby for the first time. Her response " (laughter)................ Awwww, such a shame". That's before he'd even uttered a word.

  • @falchion49 She's right, it is such a shame that she would laugh before he even uttered a word. You would think that someone with a scientific mind would ponder any information.

  • @AndyG792 Unfortunately if he's going to dress as the playtime palaeontologist in a vain attempt to gain credibility, he's going to get laughed at. What happens when he actually opens his mouth is intense hilarity.

  • So, all dinosaurs were constantly facing the direction of impact from a flood?

I'm throwing my head back, in riotous laughter!

It's pretty easy to forge and scale-up a cast.

I do it all the time with my model planes.

  • @nishbrown you need to watch the video again. Dinosaurs would be too big to fit the scenario in this situation. You need to use a little logic, instead of looking for a place to make a put down that doesn't make sense.

  • @AndyG792

Um, talk about not making sense.

Well after checking out your channel, and you subscriptions, I have come to the the conclusion that you are likely, Carl Bough, himself.

What an honor to be trolled by such a moron!

  • For some reason there's no comment section for part 5, so I'll leave this here.

It's interesting that Carl says at the end of this video that he's been trying to years to get a fossil like this, but then in part 5 he says he's been excavating them for years.

So... why doesn't he have one, then, if he's been excavating them for years? Which is it?

  • @firefly4f4 Yeah, for some reason parts 3 & 5 both had no comment section. I just took them down and am re-uploading in the hope that this will fix it.

And yes, I noticed that. I mean, the guy has dinosaur replicas that cost hundreds, but not a $20-50 ammonite? Plus he is naming a species of ammonite?

  • @firefly4f4 .. Well, I don't recall him saying that he didn't have any fossils at all of this shell. He did say that he has been trying to obtain some LIKE these, which could mean that Ian's fossils were more whole or larger than the ones that he has excavated. ... But, it is great to know that Ian is so on top of what he is saying that you feel that you must counter it. Otherwise, you wouldn't worry about what he says and just say boy some kook, I'm not going to waste my time on him. :-))

  • @AndyG792 "[. . .] and just say boy some kook, I'm not going to waste my time on him. :-))"

Since no one has seemed to reply to this, I shall go ahead and say that it might not be that he is on top of what he is saying, it might be that he is so off the top of what he is saying that it's actually funny. Although, even if the entertainment aspect isn't the biggest, Baugh himself might have enough of a following to warrant a rebuttal, despite him not having any actual valid points.

  • Excellent Lithodidman, the idea with the forgeries is effing important. Most people are never going to know about this and it is so important. Thanks for making these. Honestly you need to start being more often listed alongside the youTube creationist debunkers, like DE2, potholer54 etc.

  • @BlowDevilUp You guys are pitiful. All you can do is put people down because you don't have any answers. Is that your only tactic. How many of you would put money up and go see his fossils and replicas and accuse him of making a forgery and and if you lose pay up. No you just get on the internet and say what ever you choose when you have not evidence. If you thought he was wrong, you would not take the time to put him down. You put down what you feel to be threatening as truth often is.

  • @AndyG792 Hi, you say above, "If you thought he was wrong, you would not take the time to put him down. " So would it be accurate of me to assume that by your taking time to put me and the rest of the guys down, you believe our claims to be correct? If you believe bullshit to be truth then why don't you defend it right here and right now?

  • @BlowDevilUp Sorry, I did not know you responded back. I didn't know that responses go to gmail. I wondered why they had us make a gmail account at sign up. I don't even use it and have tons of email that I can't get back to. Anyway, in your response back to me you prove my point. All you do is put down and call people names or say they believe in bs.without any intelligent rebuttal, which is a put down with no reason. which is my point. Your response back proves my pt by the same tactic.

  • @AndyG792 Greetings, nice of you to reply. What you are saying may be true to some extent. From my own experience I may have a good reason why. Internet forums like these on youtube are a secondary response and escalation stemming from the primary sources of education (i.e. formal learning environments like classrooms, lecture halls, libraries, laboratories and the like). What you are asking for, takes place in the primary centres of education and also from the discussion in books and journals.

  • This is off topic but I love the shirt you're wearing.

It says "Homeland Security" with an old black & white picture of Geronimo and the Apaches yes?

  • @WhirlingWolves Indeed!

  • 11:23 - 11:53 lol! I wonder what Ian Juby was thinking when he picked out his outfit for the show. And look at that STUpid mock jungle in the background.

  • I was waiting for the explanation of how the creature was going through its death throes while being buried alive with sediment. Maybe we should give this guy an air tank (I'm not a sadist) and bury him with the same sediment, see how much space he has to thrash around in.

And also, isn't this the guy who "shoots" at his boat to disprove genetics?

  • @Cyrathil Why can't you guys use logic and thought, instead of put downs? Because you can't rebuttal what he says in any intellectual way, that's why. If you had logical answers other than what's presented, you'd use them. , I'm sure that Ian would welcome constructive criticism and contemplate them to see if anyone has anything to offer. He's being as truthful as possible and you can't see that scientific principals are being employed here instead of conjectures without scientific basis.

  • @AndyG792 "Because you can't rebuttal what he says in any intellectual way, that's why."

Did you watch the video? It was mostly that. There may have been a few jokes, but that's because this is supposed to be entertaining.

And if you didn't notice, the "air tank" bit was an actual problem I had with his position. He claims that with a good bit of sediment over the creature, it could thrash about. The problem is the weight above it, the arm would probably be pinned. Enough intellect for you?
