You're missing the point. He's not saying "oh no look at me I'm injured, feel bad for me" he's saying "big sh*t happens. But it can be dealt with" The focus isn't on him. The focus is on getting people to live up to their potential and STOP pitying themselves and to make themselves happy. There's a lot that goes into how but that's why he speaks.
Ron is a really amazing person. He came to my school today and it touched me. Many people have to say bad things about him but i have nothing but good to say about Ron. I even went ahead and bought one of his roll on ron smileys. Ron is a true inspiration to many people including myself. Thank you Ron
I envy his indestructible drive, but what he said is just not true for most people. Maybe HE can handle being paralyzed. More power to him. But not everyone has artistic ability to fall back on if things turn to shit. You can't just get out of bed every morning and say, "todays gonna a good day" It's not THAT easy. I dont think I'm being negative, just realistic.

I tell them they are crazy, attitude PERIOD
I have little feeling in my outer legs and arms, does it affect me? Hell yes, do I let it get me down, HELL NO.
I still bowhunt, fish, trap, take care of what I can. I have physical limitations, but not one mental limitation
