  • coool thnx captain

  • @TheHackereye No problemo.

  • cool Captain Hook

  • are u a pirat!?

  • @acika72 No, Rrrrrr you? HAHA

  • That's really smart

  • Very cool. This would be interesting to try in a twin catamaran boat!

  • you can make a second one and cross them together and you have a quadrocopter... :-))))))

Or you have done that allready? because as i see this clip is old...

  • why not just use a vtail mix but instead of using the elevator channel just mix it to the throttle channel?

  • Quality video production & interesting idea / work with the servos. Thanks.

  • Very nice!

  • like your sun conure :)

  • is that going to roll the plane at all or are you going to counter with mixing?

  • The device does all of the mixing.. my plan is to reverse the direction on one of the motors. Differential steering is new to me, should be fun to mess around with! Haven't decided what to try it on, but I'm leaning towards a simple delta so when it crashes, it won't take long to fix!

  • Looks awesome Dan! An idea for the next Depron foamy maybe...:)

  • I found a video yesterday on rcgroups of a plane using separate sticks for the diff. steering; amazing, doing a spin like a heli blade! The way this device works (non linear at any throttle) I can't even imagine what a skilled pilot like yourself could do! The servos can actually be micro; and the whole device can be much smaller. Let me know if you try it!

  • you can also do this with a vtail mixer and plug one on the engine port and one in the rudder

  • danloftus, If you use the vtail mixer, isn't the differential linear? in other words, the maximum output of the two motors (when steering) is limited to the throttle setting and won't exceed that throttle position. Or do I need to read more LOL!

  • wait a minute i thought of another way people can benefit from that rather than those servo testers use control horns and you have some elevons

  • I want to use differential steering on a plane because I want to try my hand at a tri-motor plane, it's something different, and differential steering is a very efficient way of turning because it doesn't increase drag.

  • I did a search and saw some amazing acrobatic maneuvers using this; crazy fast flips and turns on larger planes. Looked like fun!

  • Great Work...

Can't wait to see it fly..

    :)

  • Now I need to think of what plane to build for this! Something acrobatic...
